Went here on a date night with my husband and it was such a fun experience! It was packed on a Friday night around 6pm so we were lucky to find a spot outside (small table for 2), but the waiters were very gracious in helping us coordinate. Once my husband found a spot to sit, I went to the bar to order our food. We got an order of olives (duh), Tuscan kale salad, and dry aged steak with potatoes. I also asked the bartender to recommend us a bottle of wine given our order. He let me try two different reds, one more dry than the other. I asked him a couple of questions about the bottles and I was set! It was so nice having someone knowledgeable there talk to you about the selection and your choice!The olives were obviously great and went great with the wine. We then got our salad which was SO good!! I don't know how they got the kale to be so tender (lots of massaging?) and the dressing was a perfect ratio. Once we finished our salad, we had a few more sips of wine and then our steak came out (which is great spacing for me personally). I don't know what they do with those potatoes but they are ADDICTING!! So soo good. And the steak was very nicely aged. It was the perfect meal to share and I am so happy we have this gem near us!

I can see it being a great experience for some people. But not my cup of tea. I am price conscious and like to get value for my $$$. Also it's small and packed. Not the place if you're looking for a private tête à tête. When asked to sample wine, the bartender gave one drop, not really enough to properly taste. Also portions were small and overpriced. Bolognese was delicious but felt too oily for me. Cod was a little bland. You need to order at the bar. Service was good.

I love when I can get a seat at the bar, even on a date night. The bartenders are so informative about wines and pairing. While menu items are few, they are always delicious. There always seems to be a meat, fish and veggie, as well as snacks. The bartenders will always let you try the usual menu items to find out your preferences and point you in the correct direction. Then there is the "special" list;I've tried this only once. They are usually very old and expensive. I like that they sell them by the glass sometimes. Where else could you taste a famous old French, Italian etc for a fraction of buying the bottle. Amazing

Great wine, cool spot. I love that you can describe what you are looking for and the bartenders will pull a few choices for you to try. Vegan/gluten-free tater tots are also a plus. A good place to go around 5-6 before it gets busy.
