This newish restaurant is definitely underrated! We came here for my mom's birthday and I'm so glad we did. We all loved it. The food was absolutely amazing Bolognese 5/5 Lobster pasta 4.5/5 Spaghetti carbonara 5/5 Spaghetti with gamberi 4/5 (very spicy) Spaghetti arrabbiata 4/5 Caesar salad 5/5 Wine (Pinot noir & Chianti) 5/5 Pistachio and chocolate cake 5/5 The service was truly special. They went above and beyond. The restaurant is gorgeous and intimate. It's perfect for dates or family dinners.
Excellent service and food. Beyond thrilled to have found this gem in the neighbourhood. Will be back many times more. Thank you!
Another lovely experience at IL Nido. Warm and friendly servers. Dim lighting. Quiet. Easy parking. AND THE FOOD IS AMAZING. Wonderfully fresh salad. Spaghetti with lobster is delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable evening!
This place is wonderful, enjoyed dining here yesterday, one of the best Italian restaurants in town no doubt. Highly recommend, due to great service, wine selection, delicious food and overall ambience. Great value too!
We've been there ( Il Nido ) several times now & the place keeps growing on me. Last week I super enjoyed the chicken picatta with zucchini & roasted potatoes. Tender, not dry, like so many other restaurants who tend to overcook chicken. This was just right. I probably should give it 5 stars but I'll make that decision, or not, next week.
Food was phenomenal, service was outstanding, vibes were amazing. Il nido always exceeds expectations. It's truly a gem of a restaurant
We loved our time here. The ambience is exactly what you want for a night out with family or your partner. The food was incredible. Our host was terrific. Looking forward to coming back.
We've lived in Encino for 40 years and this was our first visit to this “neighborhood gem”. We had high hopes as we loved the ambience and closeness of this place to our home. However, as Encino always seems to always disappoint us (foodies) - it did so again. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. But everything, from the focaccia served almost immediately after we sat down, to the Caesar, linguini Bolognese, and sea-bass that we shared, was really just mediocre at best. Unfortunately, we will never venture back......
We love the fresh food and the attention to detail. Gianni is amazing... and Robert the waiter is a professional!
I love this spot - everyone is so welcoming and the food is amazing!!!!! I go early because of some driving at night issues, so there weren't many others there, but I truly hope that they get busy later, and/or that people in the neighborhood start discovering this place, because I want them to be there as my go-to for a long time.

such a cute spot to have a nice dinner with my daughter. food was excellent and service was even better.
The food was truly excellent! Highlights were the cacio e pepe and the pistachio passion cake from Italy (we're not big cake people but this was so lovely and light, great rec from our waiter!) Great low key neighborhood spot!
It was my first time visiting and I'll definitely be back! The service, food and overall experience was TOP NOTCH!
Nice welcoming and delicious bread immediately at the table. Great menu, priced right, good service.
Great small place for food and drinks. Just discovered it and will definitely be going back! Staff, food, and ambiance all had the feel of an owner-operated business with people who care about details.
