I just ordered for the first time today and I must say your food is fantastic! Generous portion with pickles and delicious soft boiled eggs, pickles, puréed fresh tomatoes and a small amount of hot sauce that isn’t too hot. Just right. Went to your place near corner of Van Nuys and Burbank. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED

This review is for the phone order, not the food. I tried calling in to place an order for pickup, but I was placed on hold and waited 15-20 minutes before I hung up after realizing the woman on the other line was not going to get back to me. In the past, when I call the Sherman oaks location, they immediately answer and I’m able to place an order quickly.

I still arrived to this location in person because I thought, well maybe it’s really crowded and that’s why the woman forgot to pick up the phone. Lo and behold, no one was in line and there were no customers on the patio. I’m not coming back to this location.

The ultimate breakfast/brunch place.
I was going to the Sherman oaks location since they opened, now they’re even closer.
The margarita and cultured cheese borekas are absolutely amazing, highly recommend.

Delicious Israeli style borekas. They have several options to choose from, each of which are provided with multiple sides like pureed tomato sauce, pickles and an egg. Highly recommend.

Good food, just a shame there is no place to wash hands and no toilets

We drive from the City to this location. Worth it!

Window counter with lots of outdoor seating. Similar to their other location, but with better parking and more space. Delicious as always.

Thank goodness there’s two locations now. To say that I’m obsessed with their borekas would be an understatement. Every filling I’ve tried is so good, but I’m an original girl and love cheese & za’atar. The service is great, quick, and the outdoor area is cute. You kinda forget you’re on Van Nuys Blvd which is hard to do. Highly recommend!!!! 10/10

Fresh and tasty Sephardic pastries at a reasonable price.

What a lovely new option in our neighborhood!! Their borekas are different than what I’ve had elsewhere in Israel and here in the USA. They are huge, the size of a calzone and I was able to enjoy it for both breakfast and lunch. They are also made to order and requires a 10-minute wait. The result is a real treat. They are pricey at $12 each and come with a pickle and a hard boiled egg. I’d have appreciated the option to forego those extras for a lower price. We wish this business much success!
