We were hungry and tired. We had no idea where to eat after off ramp in Van Nuys.

Of course we asked SIRI for hamburgers in Van Nuys.

Luckily we spotted Burger Lounge before reaching her suggestion.

Wow. Grass fed beef and a cheerful server, Joshua who was happy to assure we could get out burgers grilled with no seed oils.

They were exceptional!

Now this will be a destination.

I've been to a few burger lounges around LA now and it's always been really solid. Id say it falls into a category a cut above In-N-Out with a wider variety of flavors and a step down in price from the (inferior) five guys.

I usually order the lounge burger as is, but sometimes the western style or blue cheese burger. The meat to topping ratio is good and the buns are squishy but firm. Their barbecue sauce is something special with a heavy smoky chipotle/hickory flavor. Their fries are fine, hot and crispy, and the batch sodas are another less common touch (great ginger beer and Shirley temple).

The manager at this location seemed very involved and attentive to making things move smoothly and provide a good experience (Dec. 7th ~6:00p). Nice guy.

There's probably a burger lounge near you and they're probably not going to let you down in flavor and price.

Best turkey burger on the planet. So juicy and flavorful. Paleo burger is great too. High quality food. Consistently amazing. Manager is very welcoming. Always a special treat. Beautiful interior design. They have a new meal deal that is priced perfectly; hope they keep it.

This was the first time I ate here and I was very pleased with the hamburger and fries that I ordered. You can really taste the difference in the grass fed beef. Also, the french fries were cooked and salted just right.
