Attended a private Sherman Oaks/Encino Chamber of Commerce mixer. It was a good experience. There was a unique selection of wines. I was pleased to find Chenin Blanc by the glass—all adequately priced.Light bites were served. I enjoyed the sampling of offerings—definitely meticulously curated for quality and flavor.Customer service and decor were both consistent with their branding and neighborhood values/expectations. Parking at 6pm was free on metered section of Ventura boulevard.Normally, there is a weekday happy hour. The business owner/manager shared there is a book club on Sundays and a wine class. It’s an intimate yet sophisticated environment. Very close to the Galleria.I will return to check out the book clubz Each patron brings their own books and reads independently for an hour; then, each patron sparks up a conversation and shared with others. I can imagine the stimulating conversations that take place.

We went to Buvette for the first time for a Valor tequila event. The location is very welcoming and comfortable. The drinks and service were superb. I'm so glad we were introduced to Buvette- we'll definitely be back.

Don't miss this amazing gem hiding in plain sight on Ventura Blvd! This wine bar is your next happy hour or late night stop. My husband surprised me with our first visit, and upon first glance, I thought we were strolling up to the Tipsy Cow. When we deviated to the entrance of Buvette, I was surprised by an understated front door but immediately delighted with a beautiful interior. We sat at the bar, but the booths were gorgeous and intimate. My husband got the Granacha and I got the Moschofilero - both were delicious and easy-drinking. There are specific wines on the happy hour menu, so be sure to ask. And although not on the physical HH menu, the QR code on the back revealed an online HH menu with the "Adult Lunchable". Between the free bar mix (corn nuts, crunchy chickpeas and Lima beans??), and the Lunchable, it was a perfect amount of food between the two of us to keep it light but to feel satiated. Sam was behind the bar when we were there and she was so nice! We can't wait to come back to this beautiful bar and try more from their specially curated list of wines!TIPS: Street parking only. If you really love wine and wanna get your fill outside of your typical wine choices, consider signing up for their Wine Club!

Great wine bar with some cocktails. Small, casual, but fun vibe. Nice selection of wines, some very different with sparkling, pink and orange selections as well. Knowledgeable bartender and solid small bites. Just really comfortable and relaxing for an early pre-dinner drink, happy hour or a nightcap.

A friend and I were on a Ventura Blvd weeknight walk and I said that I wanted to try this wine bar that I've heard about. So we walked down towards Sepulveda and came across an almost full house when we arrived. There were a few seats left at the front window with open shutters. So cute, and charming, great vibe and is somewhat quiet (except for the loud cars and motorcycles on Ventura, but that's to be expected). We quickly ordered 2 glasses of the Cabernet Sauvignon without really reading through the menu. SO GOOD! A perfect glass of wine for the end of the day. I look forward to going back to really look at the wine list, but I'd have that same glass of Cab for sure! The wine bar is very small, but so, so charming!

Intimate and Beautiful with a knowledgeable leader in Rebecca. Loved every part of the wine school experience. So much so that I feel like I should be keeping it a secret.

I had passed this place a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try on 9/3 (Labor Day weekend). We arrived around 8 pm and only one of the booths was taken. We ordered one white one, one red, and one rose and the meat & plate board (charcuterie).

Such a good place it's next to a popular bar. But the amazing part is that you can order food from tipsy cow and they will bring to Buvette. The atmosphere is clean, classy but still casual

My friend turned 40 and we decided the throw her a "Where's Waldo" 40th birthday crawl with intentions of us all dressing as Waldo and hopping from place to place down Ventura Blvd, seeing what we could get into. Buvette was the first place of the night and I'm SO GLAD we made a stop here. This place is small but mighty. A nice wine and cocktail list only (get your beer next door), small booth seating on the inside and a small intimate patio outside. It's a nice place for lovers, no doubt, but our group made it a little rowdy for the evening. That's ok. Everyone had good laughs staring at us dressed alike. We bought a bottle of French wine to toast the birthday girl (this one was very good! Lightly sweet with citrus notes, extremely refreshing), and the bartender was such a help to us the time we were there! He pulled out glasses for everyone to toast, he was our photographer and our cheerleader. Thank you! I want to come back on a date. I'll be back.

Ok. I am a wine lover. We met Rebecca over the Pandemic as she hosted a zoom wine school. So fun, amazing and informative. This wine bar is cute, quaint, carries unique wines and has Rebecca! It’s the spot!
