Always, consistently, very good food.
Freshly made with care & like grandma used to make. This is a "must" stop for me with each visit to the Los Angeles area. You will love the food and the folks!

First time meeting a friend here for lunch. Too noisy, busy at lunchtime, table booths too close to the ones next to us and took awhile to get menus and water and silverware.

This was my first time visiting Carnival Restaurant. My father who has been going there for over 10 years brought me to eat. I LOVE IT! The restaurant was full and the people coming in and out was consistent. We were there during a weekday afternoon and the place was more than half filled up. I can understand why. Avivi and Cheyenne were our servers. What wonderful employees that Carnival has. Great management here.

We stated with the combination appetizer. It come with Humos, baba ghanoug and tabouli salad topped with falafel balls. Pita come with it. The portions are very large and delicious. We shared the chicken kabab that came with rice. The quantity of food is surprising and I had to take more than ¼ of the food home.

When we left, I was taking pictures of the business front. A guy bringing supplies came up to me to ask me what I was doing. It was Hakim who is one of the owners. I can see why the restaurant is so successful. He brought some of the cooks and crew to introduce me to them. He told he that they have been with him from the time they were teenagers. They were welcoming and smiling. I can see why the restaurant has been there for so long.

Carnival is a very special restaurant. Gems like this are a true please to discover. You will love it.

One of my favorite places for Kebabs. The grilled meats are always tasty and tender. The salads are so fresh it's almost like farm to table. Service can be a little slow, but that's because it's usually busy. Try the Baklava, very tasty with strong cinnamon.

have fun

No Lebanese hospitality here, they're kind of rude and don't really want to seat you. Big disappointment, all the way from Boston and wanted to try your food. Must be an LA thing, place looked mad dirty anyways. Khara wa zbeleh. Owner should teach the host and the waitress at the front door some manners and respecting customers. What a shame, terrible service.

Carnival Restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Lebanese cuisine! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warm and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The appetizer platter is truly something special—it’s a feast for the senses, bursting with flavor and variety that sets the tone for an unforgettable meal.

My family and I have our favorites that we always come back for. My wife and son are obsessed with the chicken kebabs; they’re perfectly seasoned and grilled to juicy perfection. My personal favorite is the Carnival combination—each bite is a delicious journey through the rich, savory flavors of Lebanon. And my daughter can’t get enough of the grape leaves, which are tender, tangy, and absolutely delightful.

One thing that can't go without mention is their lentil soup. It’s simply the best I’ve ever had. The soup is hearty, comforting, and bursting with flavor, making it the perfect start to any meal.

Carnival Restaurant is a standout for anyone who appreciates authentic Lebanese food. Whether you're a long-time lover of Mediterranean cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place will not disappoint.

Food is below average. Hummus is canned (maybe modified canned), tabouleh is machine chopped with all the parsley sticks. Shawarma is made with bad chewy meat.

Not recommended.

I've never had better, and I've had a LOT. There are quite a few other good vegan options: don't skip the stuffed grape leaves and tabbouli. A family-owned place since forever and always busy. Parking is a hassle because the lot is small and a lot of businesses share it.

First time here and certainly not the last!
We loved it in here, this place is spotless clean, cordial staff and amazing food. My husband ordered the lamb and beef kabab and I ordered the small appetizer with babaganoush, hommus and tabouleh,
Everything was fresh, very well seasoned and delicious. Portions were great and we are taking home boxes.
If you are more frugal, considered sharing the plate.
You will not regret giving this place a try.
