I spent the first 2 years of living in Sherman Oaks, trying different watering holes and bending elbows with the locals, but didn’t find “the one” until walking into the Chimney Sweep. Let me save you a journey of research, and tell you this place is like home. The bar and the folks running it are unpretentious, warm, and trustworthy. If you’re looking for your own Cheers, this might just be the place.

I went for nye. It was busy, friendly, laidback and they made sure to switch the tv’s to the countdown in time, which gives them 5+⭐️ from me! They also, quite importantly, pour a strong drink. They have a pool table, an outdoor area, & the shop next door has yummy food (sandwiches & *amazing* fries) and will deliver to you in the bar.It’s a great little bar tucked away just off the boulevard. I’m becoming a regular.

Chimneysweep is a fun vibe with a handful of amazing staff. If you’re feeling nostalgic and want to have a fun girls night out, I totally recommend it. P.S., It’s also the only dive bar in the valley that plays reggeaton so it’s even better!
