I've ordered from here several times and each time was fantastic! I'm usually a Chicken Tina Masala guy, but I am now an equal Mango Chicken guy. I must say they make the best Sag Paneer I've ever had. Super friendly folks at the restaurant too. Can't wait for the grand reopening (May 2022) this is my go to in Sherman Oaks and I've tried them all.

amazing Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naan!

I had the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan bread and a vegetable samosa and that was finger licking good! All the spices blended well as well as the sauces for the samosas were delicious. I regret not getting a dessert from them because of how good the food was. I will definitely order again but other items on the menu.

Best chicken tikka masala in Sherman Oaks

I'm always hesitant to give five stars unless I really mean it but this place is amazing and I can't find fault. This is the best Indian food I've had in LA- everything I've had is worth a repeat order but I always go back for the palak paneer and the lamb roganjosh. Every curry I've tried whether meat or veg is tasty and the pickle and raita are always on point. Such a great neighborhood discovery!

Delicious Indian food with generous portions and reasonable prices. The restaurant itself is nice and the service is friendly. My go to spot!

I've eaten here twice. I'm British. I know I'm talking about. This place is delicious, authentic, reasonably priced, and... The street parking available. I have eaten and recommend the following: butter chicken; lamb vindaloo; navrattan korma; any of the naans, and; can't wait to try more! Booyah!

I've been coming here for years. The service is always great, has the family-owned vibe. The food is always great. everything I order is consistently delicious. I'm happy this place is here and close by.

Looooove this restaurant! They make the best breed chicken, saag paneer, and coconut curry chicken! They're so good we never order anything else, but I'm sure their other dishes are amazing as well.

I love Claypit! The food here is just right. The lunch special leaves me full every time I come here!

Loved this little hole-in-the-wall in sherman oaks. We usually order from Taste of India but the wait was over an hour for a small amount of takeout so we decided to try out Claypit, and it was such a pleasant discovery. The butter chicken (murgh makhani) was delicious; rich and tangy. The curry was velvety smooth, without being oily, with glistening chunks of chicken (although honestly I'd eat that sauce w/any protein or tofu). Saag paneer had wonderful alliaceous, yet creamy texture (all too often places turn saag or palak paneer into mush). They didn't skimp on the cheese, which was terrific as it provides such a wonderful fluffy foil to the spicy spinach and greens in every bite. The price initially threw me off, but after picking up the food, we discovered each dish came in 32 ounce containers. FYI: if you want rice, you'll need to order it separately. Aloo Paratha (naan w/potatoes and peas) came in a generous portion as well. We asked for everything extra spicy and they delivered. Definitely going back!

Love the vegan and vegetarian options! The food was fresh, delicious and not loaded with sodium... I've never seen so many veggie options on the menu at an Indian restaurant! I tried the tofu Marsala, paneer, and was happy about the option to have wheat naan type bread as a healthy option
