So here's the deal, on why I'm giving 3 stars, the food is amazing and honestly tastes very fresh and high quality but the service is HORRENDOUS. Their happy hour is great, a lot of options for a really good deal, but definitely don't plan on eating in a timely manner, the food comes out so slow, I've been here 3x so I'm not just saying this based off of one experience the service is always so slow, my food has taken up to an hour to come out at times and the restaurant wasn't even busy..., they don't check on their tables, service is awful. Ambiance is whatever it's not an aesthetically pleasing type of place just more of an upgraded hole in the wall. Here's the real problem, I love that they are open late, but the one time I was going to order something late, they told me that they closed their kitchen AN HOUR AND A HALF BEFORE THEY WERE SET TO CLOSE, I mean if that doesn't tell you how bad the service is, then I'm not sure what will, but the food is actually good that's their only saving grace

Soooooo good. Wow even the garlic edamame was fireeeee! All the sushi had so much flavor and tasted fresh! Seating was fine in there and it's a very cozy tight knit place. We went during happy hour so not too bad!

Food is always good here. Not one time have I walked away dissatisfied. The wait staff are kinda hit or miss though. There are a couple really good ones, and a couple really bad ones. Definitely recommend though.

Food is always great. Ordered the rainbow roll. Shishito peppers, Sapporo pint and seaweed salad during their happy hour. Note that the seaweed salad, although in the happy hour menu was not eligible for the happy hour price. Service was amazing. Very attentive and I was able to seat myself. I was studying my lines there so it was a quiet and peaceful ambiance. Nothing too distracting. If I had friends with me I would get the Sapporo pitcher for 7.99 but I didn't wanna over indulge so just got the 3.99 Sapporo pint.

It's rare I give 5 star reviews but everything at Crave Sushi was fantastic last evening. The fish was some of the freshest and best executed sushi I have ever had and the service was on point. I will definitely be coming back!

The sushi is ok and the packaging they do for takeout is awesome. But tonight we put in an order and after two text confirmations alerting me to the time the order would be ready they called me 2 minutes prior to the “ready” time to cancel. The problem here is that this was after I waited over 45 minutes. Therefore, I would have appreciated and common sense would have dictated that they should have alerted me to this way prior to two minutes preceding my pickup time. Just awful because they gave me no other options or consolation. I would have gladly changed my order to food that didn’t have the rice that they were out of. Additionally, they said that rice would take another hour to be ready. Rice doesn’t take an hour.

The sushi is Great! I’ve visited several times and tried several sushi rolls and they are really good. This is one of my favorite places to eat sushi in LA.The service was cordial, efficient. A little slow a very few times when the place got very busy.My favorite roll is the Halloween roll. The salmon collar has been deicio8s every time. Also like their 911 roll and their miso soup.We also like ordering cake and French fries from the cafe side and they will bring them to our table to the sushi side.Also, their happy hour is excellent with great choices and great prices.

Wow honestly the best sushi place in LA! Fresh salads with real crab... everything is made with love ! Can't want to go there again. Highly recommend - it's truly amazing place!!! And great tea next door too.

They are posted as open online, they are posted as open on their front door schedule, their sister restaurant next door say they are open, the door is closed and locked. the workers are inside doing nothing, shaking their heads like it's closed. It's 1pm, they open/opened/ should have opened at 12. I called the restaurant, from sitting outside, on the phone they are saying they are open and to come in. The front door is locked. This is crazy, either change your hours, put a note on the front door, tell your other restaurant, or something. The workers are just free loading, saying the restaurants open while sitting inside doing nothing. If you're gonna come late to work or decide not to work atleast leave a note on the door. Terrible
