Was looking for some authentic and delicious Mexican food while in Sherman Oaks and this place exceeded our expectations. I ordered a breakfast burrito and my husband ordered the wet burrito. I wish I could have this place closer because it was the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in a long time. And the salsas? Delicious! Definitely don’t pass this place by, we will definitely be back!

If you’re in Sherman Oaks and craving a breakfast burrito, Deli Mex is where it’s at! Hands down, they have the best Mexican breakfast burrito around. It’s packed with fresh, healthy ingredients, so you don’t feel weighed down – just pure flavor and goodness in every bite. And that salsa? Absolutely incredible! You can tell they take pride in every detail, from the food to the service. The staff is beyond welcoming and genuinely cares that you enjoy your meal. I can’t recommend this spot enough if you want a delicious, quality breakfast burrito and Mexican dishes that hits all the right notes!

While out working one day, I stumbled upon a tiny eatery called Deli Mex Mexican Restaurant & Juice Bar. Initially hesitant to go in, I checked their Yelp reviews and saw they had quite a few, piquing my curiosity. Walking through the front door, the first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. It took a minute, but someone finally greeted us.
They weren't serving everything on the menu since it was before 11 o'clock, so keep in mind that if you want the full menu, you'll need to wait until after 11 a.m. They gave me some excuse about the kitchen not being prepped, which was frustrating because I wanted something they weren't offering yet.
I did end up getting something to eat, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was and the great service. For a quick spot to stop in and grab a bite, it was a solid choice. We opted for takeout, but we were happy with what we got. As Gordon Ramsay would say, "The first bite makes the difference between excellence and mediocrity." Deli Mex certainly leaned towards excellence. I'll definitely be going back again.

Got the Mega breakfast burrito. Delicious. Friendly people that work here too. They greeted me right away, had me sit down, and then served me a great burrito with authentic homemade salsa. That salsa was some of the best I ever had. I'll be back.
