Music was so loud you couldn’t hear someone setting next to you. The service was excellent and food selection on Sunday brunch was massive. I didn’t care for a couple items. We had 2 adult brunches and one lemonade and one ice tea. Price was a little steep. 130+ tip, 150+ was the total. Beautiful restaurant, I would go back again. I ate ceviche and shrimp 🦐

I Love the watermelon margaritas. I also enjoy the ambiance. Thank you to our waitress Estephani for your hospitality:)

We Came by for the first time and try out ,
The moment we arrived the place seems empty on a sunday 2pm , we waited over 7 min to get the menus and a server, gentlemen seems nice , we order the Riby Steak Tacos , they were really bad taste , not even soft meat or high quality,
2- Chiken tacos , 70% onions 30 % meat , same poor quality taste , 2 tacos per order , small tortillas and 2 drinks + 1 3s leches , really bad as if was from Ralph's and fried icecream, was not as fresh , THE TOTAL BILL WAS CLOSE TO $100 , We suppose to eat the desert after the meals , we keep waiting for while and finally the gentleman with a pony tail show up and grabbed the bill that we already had paid and said * Is this been coverd ? He didn't ask if the food was ok or the service or nothing, he just grabbed and left , nor the pony tail guy came back or our waiters, the nice gentlemen cleaning the tables brought it us back the desert in which we decided to leave after the bad experience at this restaurant. The Only reason we give 1 start , it was the tostadas and the mild sauces to dip in.

Lastly, the rice was sticky and the beans for sure were canned !

Really bad food taste and not as fresh as advertise on menu !

Wow, I never thought I would have such an amazing Valentines evening and dinner with my wife until I came to Sherman Oaks galleria and entered Frida. My wife and I actually had reservations for P.F. Chang’s when we walked by Frida we were hoping that they would have a table for two. We are surprised they did. We were graded by nice hostess and walk to the back area where there was a romantic setting and a beautiful table. We met the manager Angel after he handed my wife a beautiful, long, stem, red rose. He came afterwards and asked how we were doing. We were doing great. Our waitress Sarah also took special care of us where we got our food in a timely manner and was very polite and genuinely caring. I found out that Angel has only began to manage this location For a couple of months and I’m confident that my five star review is going to lead to many more reviews that are five star. Thank you, Angel and staff for one of the best Valentines dinners we’ve ever had. Michael and Rita.

Amazing service, by Angel (he was the manager)
We celebrated by dad’s birthday and everything was perfect. The food is delicious you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The table side Guacamole is a must! The restaurant is fun and vibrant with its decor and music. Overall the place, service and food was excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at Frieda’s on my first visit! The standout of the evening was Ernesto, who was an outstanding waiter — attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Isabel and Jorge also deserves a shout-out for her warm welcome and exceptional customer service; she truly made us feel valued. We were there to celebrate a birthday, and the atmosphere and service made the occasion even more special. I’m already looking forward to returning and celebrating more moments at this great local gem!

This special place is filled with ambiance and a return to Mexican cuisine with class and inventiveness. I have been here twice, and both times, the service has been A+++! On the past visit, i had the Frida platter, which consisted of crispy chicken and potato taquitos, cheese quesadillas, mini sopes, and guacamole. The flavor of the chicken and potato taquitos was amazing. This restaurant has an ambiance and sophistication, which is hard to come by in today's fast food environment. You are pleasantly surprised with the warm lighting, artistic expression, and an inviting elegance to draw you into this environment. Today's visit consisted of an Irish coffee, steak soft taco with grilled onions cilantro, and a house made guacamole to drizzle over the taco. This appetizer is accompanied by a lime wedge to give the steak a burst of lime to add a tinge of citrus to the meat. Wow!! Frida's is one of the best gourmet Mexican restaurants i've ever had. It exudes class and refined elegance in its structure. Definitely, come visit this establishment as soon as possible. You will become a regular guest when you taste the cuisine it offers.

Stopped into town for brief visit and wanted something different within walking distance. The shopping plaza has a few options, Frida is across Cheesecake Factory as you walk toward the escalators on the right. Your instantly greeted with beautiful decor. No wait time. Waitress came over promptly. Started picking at the chips and salsa as I decided what to order. The green had some spicy heat, typically the green in many places is milder. The red, not hot with a smoky taste. I decided on the 5 soft tacos with option to choose the variation as desired. 1 Pastor , 2 carnitas, 2 chicken.

First time tasting pastor and was my favorite, lots of flavor. The Carnitas was next favorable and the chicken I found to be very toned down in taste. Can’t say if that’s the norm but a huge contrast to the pastor.

A scoop of rice and a scoop of refried beans appear small at first but actually a very filling portion.

Overall I was very pleased with my choice for early dinner. I took a walk around the plaza. Beautiful architecture with an amazing blue sky backdrop. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was very good and the service was excellent. I think it's a bit expensive for what you get, but it's a nice restaurant to visit.

We sat outside and it was early on a Saturday night so it was not noisy. Our food was ok, not fabulous. The kids tacos were unusual. They were soft tacos with melted cheese on top. I guess the kids expected hard shells and ground meat. It was chunks of meat. It looked good, but only one of the three ate it. The Margarita's tasted different than what we are used to. My husband and I could not figure out why. The flavors were unusual and we don't know what ingredient is different that is used there. The service was good. We had to ask them to wash our table before we sat down. There were food crumbs on it. I thought this detail should have been attended to before we were seated.
