This is a great neighborhood Italian place. Great people running the joint. Authentic. Almost don’t want to review to keep it as a secret neighborhood spot but they deserve success. Yum.

I found this place across from my hotel. I ended up coming here three nights in a row. Everything was so delicious. The homemade Beef rib ravioli, Spaghetti with tiger shrimp in spicy tomato sauce ,and ribeye were the main dishes I had. Very very good. I loved the cheese cake for dessert. Their service and atmosphere is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and happy to see me back. I may come back again tomorrow.

We were there this past Sunday, and the host Marco was very nice and helpful with the specials and wine selection. Although they were out of the salmon, he highly recommend the brazing which was amazing. Definitely we will be back and looking forward to seeing Marco again.

I was craving authentic Italian cuisine, and IL Nido ("The Nest") delivered beautifully. Making a reservation through their website was very easy, though they also welcome walk-ins.
While I don’t usually drink, their wine selection is impressive for those interested. The specials are announced before ordering; we chose the mushroom ravioli, which was one of their specials , and I also had the fettuccine with black truffle. Both dishes were delicious and perfectly portioned.
The garlic bread is also outstanding—especially when paired with their olive oil and vinegar. Highly recommend for a great Italian dining experience.

We didn't have a reservation but still got a table. Very attentive service and the best pasta I've had in the US so far. Tastes like Italy.

I have tried every Italian restaurant in the valley and IL Nido has by far the best homemade pasta in the area. The service is excellent, ambience comforting and the food quality is top notch!
First time for dinner. . . salad special was very average and not worth the price. Branzino was good. Atmosphere pleasant. Food needs to be more exciting and make a bigger statement!
Il Nido offers a delightful dining experience, featuring excellent Italian cuisine and a well-curated wine selection. Set in a cozy neighborhood venue, it promises a warm welcome and great service, all without any pretension. It's the ideal spot for those seeking genuine Italian food in a comfortable atmosphere

A great neighborhood spot with a cozy ambiance. Tables set far apart enough to not have to shout. Bread served complimentarily is excellent and so is the balsamic and olive oil served with it. Rare to get bread free these days! Food is good, if not brilliant, but at these prices, not complaining.
Probably the best pesto I've had in LA. Very authentic Italian.

Great little charming neighborhood restaurant. Staff was wonderful as well as the taste and the quality of the food. Cooked to perfection. Prices are on target for the amount you get. We all had leftovers the next day. Definitely a place I'd pop into any night when I want a quiet delicious meal. Parking is easy as well.
Remarkably pretentious given their mediocre-at-best service and food.

We had a great date night at Il Nido! We love Italian food, especially authentic recipes that remind us of what it's like to eat in Italy. That's the experience we got at Il Nido. It was a not-too-busy Thursday evening and we were seated right away when we arrived.
Our server made a great wine recommendation based on the pasta we were ordering. I had a glass of the Barrero (might as well have Italian wine when eating Italian food!) And it blended well with the flavors of the pasta we got.
They serve slivers of garlic bread on a cutting board...thin slices of focaccia, perfectly sized to not fill up before your main comes (unless you eat them all which is hard not to do because they're delicious.)
My wife and I ordered Futticcine with Black Truffle and Cacio Pepe pastas...they knew we were going to share them and divided up the portions on to 2 plates for us (without even asking) so we didn't have to do the mid-meal plate switcheroo. Both pastas were delicious! They make the noodles in-house and you really can't beat perfectly cooked fresh pasta.
We left feeling really well taken care of by their staff, super happy with what we ate, and with a new authentic Italian spot on our radar for future date nights!
