I’ve frequented Jinky’s for over 20 years. Sometimes I was there twice a week because of the amazing menu. Everything you want … until now…Jinky’s was purchased by a new owner about 1 years ago ago and the food and service has gone downhill since then. Many of my favorites are no longer on the menu. Had the chili today and it was bland and flavorless. It used to be amazing and the different types of chili they offered, but no longer. The prices went up well over 10 percent for each dish I used to Order since this new owner took over. It is not the cool neighborhood restaurant that was like Cheers where everyone knows your name. I miss the personal touches. I miss the friendly wait staff. I will go back from time to time, but it makes me sad that this great restaurant is no mediocre at best. If the new owner is reading this, you are made a huge mistake by changing so much. You are following the footsteps of the amazing pizza place that was next door- it was bought, corners were cut, and now it no longer exists. I realize that people need to retire, but these new business owners truly need to take a page from the old book- if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

This has to be the stupid day to order food here because the owner allowed anyone to order online but when you get to the door it’s closed. Seriously? Why do we even get charged???!!! You are in America and it’s Labor Day, do you even know what that is?

First time here. We got a mocha and vanilla frappe, with whipped cream. Took a photo a bit after taking a couple sips. It was delicious! One of the better frappes I’ve had. I will definitely come back when I’m in town again.

Enjoyed our breakfast. Staff was friendly and efficient, food served hot and as ordered. Restrooms were clean. Appeared to be a local favorite... A bit pricey, but, hey, Comrade Newsome is driving prices up everywhere...

I had ordered a patty melt with a salad I asked for my Patti meant to be well done they brought it back really red so they had to take back I had to wait to eat lunch so that was disappointing ? the waitress was really nice and helpful It was my first time going there it was good
Food was the worst. Taco salad was literally only wilted slime lettuce with a couple cucumbers that were clearly prepared days before. Chili was awful. I honestly thought since they offer a chili sampler it would be okay but it was greasy dog food. For your health avoid this place. At the very least avoid this location. I can only imagine how sick I could have been if I hadn't thrown this out. My stomach was hurting for hours just on a few bites. It's so bad I took time to reach out to the restaurant as well as putting this review. At this point I feel I should fairly warn others.

While vacationing in California, we stayed at a near-by hotel and ended up going to breakfast a couple times. If it wasn't good, we would have been one and done.However, the food was good and the staff did a great job.If you're in the area, I'd recommend giving Jinky's a try...
