Fresh fish and seafood, the restaurant is run by the owner. I've ordered many things on the menu, and nothing has ever disappointed me. From miso soup to chicken teriyaki plate, to skewers and appetizers - everything is delicious! They also have draft Sapporo and White Yuzu. With all that, the prices are very reasonable. My favorite mid-budget sushi place on Ventura blvd.

Beautiful restaurant- we were happy to get a last minute rez in open table. When we got to the hostess stand there was no one there seating. And the servers would just walk past and not make eye contact. This was happening all night, long not just for us so people are waiting at the front with no attention. Once we got seated, it would take a minute for anybody to even give us a menu or come over and ask us for drinks, etc. The yellowtail was amazing. The other rolls were just OK but definitely a nice place if they can get the service more efficient.

Kaiju is one of our favorite Japanese restaurants. The staff are so friendly and customer oriented. The menu has great offerings and the food is both yummy and reasonably priced.

Our first and certainly not last time at this great place! ABSOLUTELY LOVED the spicy tuna cracker, shiny diamond roll, spicy tuna roll and crispy tofu. Our waitress Betty was outstanding!

Crazy a large successful business like this isnt able to update its hours correctly.
Staff was overtly rude, unhelpful, and acted as if the issue was my fault for the confirmed 9:30 reservation they made available on the application that I showed up for on time
