We had a wonderful time celebrating our friend's Birthday. Wonderful place with amazing food and even better service! We will be back soon !
I have been going to La Cava for many years the quality of the food and ambience is exceptional. We have celebrated a lot of events at this restaurant and have good memories.
We met some friends out for dinner here and had a fantastic meal. The food was great. We shared a few salads and appetizers, and we each had a different main. I had the bolognese which was perfectly textured and flavored. Service was friendly and helpful. This place has a family run, local trattoria vibe. It's a Studio City gem. We will absolutely go back.
Great Italian food and very friendly service. Small, neighborhood gem for special occasions.
Been going to La Cava for a couple years now and love it every time. Sometimes a date night and others just for a quick meal. Amazing food and service every time.
An excellent, true Italian restaurant, and in the heart of Sherman Oaks, no less. One of our favorite places!
The food was wonderful as was the service. I had the Tagliatelle noodles with Bolognese sauce that was Devine. The Caesar salad Devine as was the eggplant pizza with the wonderful thin crust! La Cava is always delicious!
We enjoyed our dinner very much. The food and service were fantastic and the chef was willing to accommodate special requests. We felt like we were in Italy. A real gem in Sherman Oaks.
Delicious food and excellent service. We've been dining here for years and always enjoy it.
I ordered the Penne Arabiata, I’m Italian and used to spicy foods.
There’s spicy and then there “ inedible” the pasta was so incrediblely spicy no one could eat it. We threw it out. Talk to your chef please. J

It is much too crowded and noisy to have a decent experience!
I could barely hear my dining companions. For the high prices they charge, I expected much better tasting dishes. And, we were rushed! No Italian restaurant in Italy would be like this! A most misrable experience!!!

This might be the most underrated Italian restaurant in the Valley. Not trendy, but real Italian food.
This was my first time coming to this place and was wonderful happy with everything that I experience. The service provided by Adriana and Julianna was fabulous they were friendly and kind and help with my special food needs. The food was scrumptious.Overall happy with my first visit and will be coming back.

Inside dining was crowded and hot temperature of the room was hot. So I sat outside. The tables outside were right next to the street. and traffic on that street is very busy and loud I could barely hear my guest when she was speaking The menu was extensive , specials were given on a printed paper in the menu menu was easy to navigate food was ok, the presentation was adequate The service was good all over said and done. It was not a good value for the buck. I would not want to pay what I paid for the level of food and service and experience just a little overpriced in my book.
You will love this small, cozy Italian spot in Sherman Oaks. The menu offers an excellent selection, and the staff are truly superb. You're warmly greeted as soon as you walk in, and the attentive service makes you feel cared for throughout your meal. The food is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection!
