Pleasantly surprised a Ventura Blvd Italian staple could be so solid. Everything felt homemade in the best sense of the word. Uncomplicated, well-prepared and tasty. Great service. Cozy room. Will definitely be back.

The servers were attentive but clueless about the wines they offer. When asked the difference between a Tuscan and another type, the waiter thought a long time and answered "the grapes." He couldn't comment on which choice was the driest. They could read up in their spare time, there are lots of evenings when they're not busy. Also, although I hosted 5 people and our bill totaled over $500, they charged a $2.50" split fee" to bring one extra salad...

The owner was delightful and visited our table to chat a few times, quite lovely. Bread basket very nice , fish dish delicious. We all ordered different flavors of sorbet for dessert and presentation was beautiful. The pineapple sorbet served in a half cut pineapple was outstanding!
