I’m kind of ashamed to ever say I used to love this place. I used to drive out of my way to go to this place.

The owners arrogance is next level. Buying Costco blueberry muffins and selling them for absorbent prices.

Knefe prices are as if he flew to Lebanon to buy the cheese and came back to sell it for a small fortune. Might I add it’s not as good as he used to make it a few years ago.

I understand inflation has hit everything but I spent too much money on an eclair that was clearly days old and a pistachio cake that was rock hard. And I am not even going to try the raspberry and apricot cookies.

I’d pay the prices if the food was good but it’s old and stale and this is just a sad way for someone to end their small business that used to have the reputation as the best.

Don’t let the looks of this pistachio cake fool you.

I hope to one day hear they got better but I’m not holding my breath.

They have good stuff. It’s too bad. They don’t answer the phone or stay open till when they say they’re gonna be open till that would just be the icing on the cake.

When I was in my croissant phase, I searched high and low, and I think La Galette has the best croissants in the valley :) This is a wonderful family business and everything is freshly made with some items having a Middle Eastern flair. The father of the father/son duo can sometimes be a little cantankerous… he incredulously asked me if I even knew what za’atar is?? when I tried to order their za’atar croissant - which by the way, is delicious!I love supporting a small and local business and you should too, and try them out :) On the weekends they make knafe which is really delicious!

The service was amazing and the pastries were delicious, light, flakey and buttery, perfect texture and consistency and the coffee wasn’t quite like we’re used to in Miami, but they tried to twist it for us and it was fresh and delicious.

Best knaffe around they take their time to make it unique and one of a kind the reason they make it on the weekend is because they put alot of care into the products they bake here. Been coming for a while now because they make everything from scratch, make sure the freshness of their products; from the amazing croissants unlike the other bakeries who use pre-made frozen croissants, and the handmade baguettes or cookies you can tell the difference here. If you have a question stop on by staff is very friendly and can help explain the wide variety of cake and cookies that they make here. Not to mention their middle Eastern sweets they are to die for ask about those too, some are only made by order while other things like baklava or namoura are available typically. I love the graduation cake they made for my son too was sweet, great chocolate flavor, and the delicious whipped cream they make. Give this place a heads up if you have an upcoming event or birthday and they can really make just about anything given the right amount of time.
