Food is really good. I love the goat cheese pear salad. First time trying the onion soup and it was really good. Very recommended this place.

A very nice place to enjoy some French cuisine - the lamb and duck were excellent. Was able to get reservations a few hours in advance.
I don’t get it. Either the restaurant has a lot of fans who clearly have different experiences or they ain’t legit. So many 5-star ratings. Yes, few and far between French eateries, but this is nothing like Paris and the food, while OK, was on the serious side of mediocre. Service was not what you would expect from this kind of restaurant, having to flag down our server several times. Very loud! So what did we eat: we shared a tuna tartare starter, which on a bed of avocado turned out to be the star of the evening. My main, crispy duck, was so crispy, I couldn’t cut it even with the sharper knife they provided. I love duck and often gravitate to it when on the menu. There was a duck confit starter, which seemed a bit much in terms of being a starter and price, so saved my duck for the main. Very disappointed. Accompanied by a nice wild rice and a few carrots and green beans, not overcooked, but the duck itself, Contents dry and tasteless. My partners branzino, thin and lacking ooomph, very disappointing. The house bread, sliced nicely thin, tasteless, as was the butter provided; always looking forward a fresh butter, a staple in a good French restaurant; this wasn’t it. Dessert turned out to be very good, a crunchy and flavorful crème brûlée and a chocolate mouse, which was readily consumed. Very disappointing. Would not return, although in fairness, the couple we had dinner with enjoyed their lobster and knew the menu well as regulars. So maybe I’m just too discerning or maybe most people will like it??

Eating at Le Petite was a lovely dining experience. My husband and I could talk and not shout to be heard. The food was well prepared, my fish was delicious and moist and which can always an issue with fish. And our waiter was the best!
Food very good. Great flavor. Wish the Crispy Duck was a bit more crispy but otherwise everything good to very good.
First time at Le Petit. We sat in the patio area and so happy about that. The restaurant is small inside and very loud. Nice to see people laughing and enjoying themselves, but patio was not loud and fun to people watch. Very good service and food was delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
Jose', Peter & Peter are great representatives of this fine restaurant ! Great food, drinks and service !
5 stars all the way. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our waiter, Jose, was attentive as usual and he makes the best martini! The lamb chops were tender and cooked perfectly. The bouillabaisse was heaven -- the best I've had in many, many years. I cannot wait to go back.
This is a very enjoyable authentic French restaurant! We enjoyed excellent food and wine from a very accomplished wine list. Unfortunately, we were placed at a table quite literally in the middle of the room and in the way of all waiters and diners; it seemed a misplaced table (?). As well, we were seated next a table with a very noisy child and a mother who apparently thought it was “cute,” and did nothing about it. Noise ambience in general was quite annoying and very nearly ruined the whole experience.
This is a great find. The menu was extensive with something for almost everyone. The portions were plentiful and flavorful. The crispy duck was among the best we've had, the eggplant appetizer superb. The wine list is well curated and reasonable. In all, a great please to have a nice dinner out.

Always excellent food and service at Le Petit and once again they did not disappoint. One of my favorite restaurants.
Very pleasant service. Love the mini blinis with perlage. Escargots were great. Pumpkin ravioli and veal were fantastic. Saved room for choc soufflé. Easy valet parking. Lovely evening. Suitable for well-behaved children so the whole family can enjoy a wonderful dining experience.
This is my favorite restaurant in LA. Outstanding fresh food served hot and fresh. Extraordinary service and impeccable ambience. Can it say enough positive points about this fabulous restaurant.
Our favorite restaurant for birthdays, anniversaries and any special occasion. Best soufflés ever.
Service and food are exceptional. Small restaurant great wine by the glass offerings. The service is friendly and not stuffy. Great place.
