Had such a great dinner here. Service is really top notch; host and waiter were friendly and attentive. Restaurant decor and ambiance was very pretty.
Food came out timely. Ordered the Braised Short Rib Adobo. Short rib was soft and fell apart easily. The plantain puree was great and a nice change of pace from the basic starches you typically get like mashed potato. Got a little crunch and earthy-ness from the macadamia nuts. And it came with a side of rice.

This place was a pleasant surprise. The food was hit after hit. The best flavors in every dish. This is a culinary delight. The service was spectacular. Attentive, helpful, and delightful.

I was in a bind when our party of 6 lost our reservation made over a month ago due to a glitch in the online system. Despite being fully booked, Malama Pono graciously accommodated us and made our friend's birthday celebration unforgettable. The horseradish crusted mahi mahi was absolutely divine, and the service was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. I can't recommend this place enough!...
