We had been to Mistral once before a number of years ago and had a lovely experience so we thought it would be fun to go back. While the atmosphere of the restaurant has a nice upscale NY vibe, the food didn't match with that. The escargot was good and so were the salads, but each of our main courses were just ok.. not terrible, but not outstanding. There were 6 of us and we each came away with the same impression. The service personnel were all friendly, polite and professional, but we all felt the service was slow.... particularly our drink order and bringing just some bread and butter...

We ordered NY steaks, Salmon and Duck confit. The portions are generous and the food delicious. Appetizers we also great! Overall it was a great evening 🙂

Mistral is a neighborhood gem that has been serving delicious food for decades. The atmosphere is authentically French as is the menu. Along with delicious food, Mistral's bat offers creative cocktails and an extensive wine list. Perhaps one of the best aspects of Mistral's is the service. These servers are skilled professionals who make you feel right at home, but with a an elegant touch! It is a fun restaurant where you will dine and drink very well.

Consistently great food in a Bistro like atmosphere. Ownership recently changed but the ambiance, service (most of the wait staff remained) and food is still outstanding. A drawback is the lack of parking and valet parking at $15.00 is pricey.

Mistral, always holds up to its quality, delicious food excellent service, and classy French bistro ambience... So nice to have a small restaurant still standing in this area of the Valley. Always have a delicious meal! It's funny... As I'm getting older the restaurant seems to be getting darker... Is that a coincidence? LOL

Pricey, but worth it! Great time with family and friends. Food and drinks were top notch, with a special nod going to the appetizers — escargot, tuna tartar, and a nice cheese plate. Will go again, especially for special occasions. Nicely appointed, classy room.
