We had been to Mistral once before a number of years ago and had a lovely experience so we thought it would be fun to go back. While the atmosphere of the restaurant has a nice upscale NY vibe, the food didn't match with that. Mistral is a neighborhood gem that has been serving delicious food for decades. The atmosphere is authentically French as is the menu. Along with delicious food, Mistral's bat offers creative cocktails and an extensive wine list. Perhaps one of the best aspects of Mistral's is the service. These servers are skilled professionals who make you feel right at home, but with a an elegant touch! It is a fun restaurant where you will dine and drink very well.
Consistently great food in a Bistro like atmosphere. Ownership recently changed but the ambiance, service (most of the wait staff remained) and food is still outstanding. A drawback is the lack of parking and valet parking at $15.00 is pricey.
