Pricey, but worth it! Great time with family and friends. Food and drinks were top notch, with a special nod going to the appetizers — escargot, tuna tartar, and a nice cheese plate. Will go again, especially for special occasions. Nicely appointed, classy room.
This has become our go-to French Restaurant, specifically for the escargot. They prepare it in the traditional shells with the best seasoned garlic-butter broth we have had outside of France. Four out of our family group of five chose the John Dory, which was just the right amount of being crispy and flaky. Our server recommended a very nice Puligny-Montrachet to accompany the meal, which ended up requiring a second bottle.
I have been going to Mistral since it was Albion's Bistro in the 80's and my father used to frequently take us there for dinner. It always has been and still is a special experience. It's a beautiful place, including a lovely covered patio, and the staff make you feel welcome and important from the moment you arrive. The food is largely classic French Bistro with several nice exceptions, and everything is delicious and beautifully presented. I particularly recommend...
