Mizlala Sherman Oaks

Two serious complaints about Mizlala. One is that they need to move into my part of the SF Valley ASAP. The second is their crazy parking lot.

But one thing is for certain. This place serves outstanding Middle Eastern cuisine. Far better than anything I've had anywhere. Wonderful flavors, spices and herbs. Succulent chicken Pargiyot, Taste bomb Moroccan fried chicken. Sumac fries to die for. Salads bursting with feta, Kalamata olives, beets, radishes and tomatoes. Perfectly nuanced sauces and dressings. A delight for the senses.

Their staff is friendly and very helpful.

Now just move closer and make me really happy.

Wooh, chile. Woo, child. Wow!!! This was like the best meal I had in weeks- seriously. Everything was incredibly flavorful and memorably delicious! Moroccan chicken with dipping sauce is a MUST. The sprouts- generous and so well seasoned. The pickled carrots? What a healthy treat. Vegan garlic sauce- umph.

I like the place, but the new skinny waiter is horrible. I chose to dine in but he brought me a to go bag without letting me know in advance only because I came 20 minutes before the close and he wanted me to get out of there as soon as possible.

Really good vibes, staff was really profesional and the food was excellent.

Fantastic!! Ordered the salad w kofte and falafel + some pickled sides and baklava and it was easily some of the best I’ve ever tried. The falafel was perfectly cooked and moist, not dry at all, the kofte were delicious and retained that elusive grilled flavor, the salad was rock solid and the pickles were perfectly seasoned and brined. EAT HERE ASAP

Bright Mediterranean plates with lots of herbs and char. The chicken kebab is juicy and pairs well with the labneh. Order at the counter, then relax outside. Portions are shareable without feeling skimpy. Parking in the back is a bonus

Lovely little spot with Israeli / Japanese fusion. Highly recommend the watermelon salad sth olive oil feta and the shawarma is fire! Fresh greens I hope they succeed also super solid prices compared to amazing fodnshality lol

Ok place .. food is not so great.. the hummus is fine .. except of that the rest is really so so .. I’ve eaten in a better places ..but again it a matter of taste .. they still got for me 5 starts as they are a local business and I support their efforts to hire local people.. but they need to improve the service and the quality of the food..
