TLDR
A solid Portuguese bakery with a wide selection. The pastéis de nata are the clear highlight. Prices are higher, but the quality and uniqueness make it worth a try.
We went in the evening for the bakery side and asked for recommendations, then tried a mix of pastries. The natas were easily the best item and the main reason to come. The chocolate covered strawberries and the guava filled pastry were also good. The cream puff and fudge ball were fine but skippable for the price.
The selection is large and everything tasted fresh. It is on a very busy stretch of Ventura Boulevard, so it is easy to miss if you are not paying attention, though the mannequin outside helps. The café menu and savory Portuguese dishes looked interesting and are worth a return visit. It is also a nice change of pace for the area and adds some real variety.

What a find! Tucked away in the Valley, this authentic Portuguese restaurant and bakery is a true delight. You really can't go wrong here, whether you're just stopping for a quick pastry or enjoying a satisfying meal. Not to mention super helpful and friendly staff.

If you’re like me who’s been looking for Portugal Pastel de Nata in LA - look no more! This Portuguese bakery and cafe is the place to go. They have classic nata and some specialty ones too! Everything was delicious and fresh.

What an incredibly good experience. Disclaimer being that it was early Saturday morning and we were some of the first customers of the day. Still, the ambiance was really nice, actual candles and pleasant deco with splashes of green. Really pleasant staff, super attentive and nice. Then there was the food. The soup was really satisfying and not too salty, the sausage it came with was hearty and added to an already complete experience. The coffee was solid, with freshly steamed creamer available. The pastries were all really tasty and of excellent quality. I will definitely be back.
