This cake is way too sweet and the frosting is even sweeter. It’s so overly sweet you really can’t eat it. I called the Sherman oaks location where I ordered the cake from to let them know that I was very unhappy with the cake and requested a replacement cake with very light drizzle. Didn’t ask for a refund just a replacement. I spoke to Crystal, the store manager who was completely rude and unwilling to help and accommodate my request. She also denied me speaking to the owner and said they are too busy to take a customers call. I will be disputing the charge and they lost a customer forever! Shame that this is how managers ruin small businesses.

They are open yet unwilling to work and frost a few muffins if too close to closing time. I showed up at 515 and they already packed up frosting for their 6 o clock closing . Order in advanced or call first because they may not really be "open" despite hours.Bundt cakes are delicious but go early.

... This was a birthday cake that I ordered and when I got home (20min car ride in November 22, the cake looked like this. I was suprised because it never looked like this before. I didn't check it when I left because the store employees taped the sides of it shut. So I assumed everything would be OK when I opened the box.On my 30th Birthday and Thanksgiving, I am disappointed.

I love this place sooooo much but PLEEEAAASE make a gluten free in any other flavor than chocolate chip. It’s good but it’s just the worst flavor and I love these cakes so much but I want one in a good flavor. It can be a weird flavor I don’t mind just not chocolate chip!!!!!!

I had the absolute WORST experience at this location! The manager is racist and unpleasant. I along with 3 other customers left unsettled by the treatment received! Avoid this location at all cost!!

I don't understand why it's so pricey. Yes, the cake is good. But not out of this world. There are better cakes with lower prices. Please don't blame it on inflation or the egg prices. And thank you for your response. I think you are right

I was going to get something to take to a friends but after all the bad reviews, I will be going elsewhere. From what I have read, it's not the cakes but the staff sounds awful. Was looking forward to trying something new but will be going back to Sweet Lady Janes, which is always great and the gals who work there are the best!

This location said after my purchase when i asked for a fork that it doesnt give out utensils. Traveling from out of town so not sure how Im supposed to eat the cake just purchased from them. How ridiculous!

We walked in and were treated with nothing but disrespect especially on mothers day to my mother. When asked about the decorations that were pictured on the website they said do it yourself and when saying that we can't give these to our mother looking like this they replied with "why not?" 1/10 customer service and will not be coming back.
