This is becoming our family's go-to restaurant for get togethers. Fantastic food, excellent service! We've come in groups as small as 5 and as large as 15 and we consistently get amazing service and wonderful food. I'm also going to highly recommend the excellent amaretto sour the bar serves up *chef's kiss*

We waited for a very long time for our mains, although the place was almost empty. My Special pasta with truffle oil was so disappointing. The tiniest portion of irregularly hard-soft cooked noodles, in a coating of something white instead of the expected plate of lush silken creamy sauce, very few bits of mushroom and pancetta, and a whiff of truffle odor. Over forty dollars after tax and tip (20% added by restaurant). One co-diner had the seafood cioppino (plentiful and deemed ok). Other co-diners’ dishes were plentiful and deemed delicious — shrimp scampi, spaghetti bolognese, vongole, shrimp and lobster. Also, Caesar salad looked great. Arugula salad was not. So — depends what you order. Why a pasta special that should be scrumptious would be such a bust — very disappointing.

Good food, but bad service. The waiter wasn't really interested in the customer's dining. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to place the order. After we ordered, it took more than 30 minutes to get the food. Waiter never came back to see if everything was okay until I asked for the check.

One of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time. Michael, the owner, is an incredible host, and makes it feel like you’ve been invited to his home in Italy. The food is absolutely tremendous - I ordered the gnocchi and was very impressed. The desserts are amazing, as well. The cannolis are out of this world.
Do yourself a favor and go dine at Oliva Trattoria. You’ll be very happy you did.

5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟- Let me give some context... I'm sure you'll agree, going out for dinner on a major holiday like Mother's Day, especially to an Italian restaurant of this quality is a challenge, to say the least. With that said, let me start with the chef-owner, Giorgio. Yes he was on the floor, sleeves up and who was overseeing each and every guest along with managing the backend while keeping an eye on floor. As the restaurant was literally full, we had to wait a few extra minutes for our main entre but Giorgio took care to ensure everything went smooth. We were all highly impressed with everything. Our server was managing several large tables of what appeared to be Italian families along with several other 4 and 6 tops. Each dish we ordered was delicious. Even as busy as they were they allowed us to split a Caesar 3 ways and there was enough for all. The salad was fresh with just the right amount of dressing and cheese and croutons with a slight hint of garlic. Bread was soft and crunchy. You know what I mean. The freshest calamari, and a spaghetti and meatball dish to die for. I believe the meatballs were ground filet and the sauce was exquisite. I could swear I could hear Grandma in the kitchen. It must have been her cookin' straight form Italy.
