Overpriced mediocre food, small portions !
We ordered 2 pizzas: Classic with prosciutto $24, the other one was Sopresatta (spicy salami)$25 and their hangar steak $42. Both pizzas were super crispy dry due to scarcity of marinara sauce. The steak tasted ok, but was very tiny (kiddie size) with a teaspoon of mashed potato smeared on a side. Definitely not worth $42.
The service was very poor, they (our waitress and some other person) kept coming and asking how was our food, like 5 or 6 times, which was very ANNOYING ! It felt like they were urging us to leave. Finally the waitress brought our check immediately after we decided to not have the dessert
I consider that rude.
Be aware, they add 5% to your check (staff health charge).
I have regretted coming here. No idea what is this hype about the place. The only explanation is they have managed somehow to delete truthful (negative) reviews.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at this Italian restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was so inviting, with soft Italian music in the background and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service was top-notch; the staff went above and beyond to make our evening special. As for the food, it was sheer perfection. The dishes were bursting with authentic Italian flavors, and the homemade pasta was a revelation. Went there for lunch and glad they were not busy since we didn’t have a reservation and we were seated in less than 5 minutes. Unfortunately once we were seated it did take awhile to get waters and a menu. The service was slow with only one server, and it appeared the bartender and maybe the manager were helping out. Bread came out well after we ordered our food and without butter, olive oil or any condiments. She brought the olive oil with a promise to bring out more bread but that never came. Glad our entrees were so flavorful that it made up for not getting the second round of bread. We got the Nero spaghetti and the carbonara. The carbonara had a poached egg to add any additional layer of richness

Found this gem through Google maps and was very impressed. Ana took great care of me and other team members were attentive and friendly. I chose the Fig & Proccutio pizza which i would not order again. The rest of the menu looks amazing and they offered to bring me something different. I would highly recommend Osteria La Buca anytime you are in the area.

The restaurant is very relaxing joyful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming . Athena was our waitress, she was very helpful and professional, she have a beautiful smile and sense of happiness. The food is the best food in the City of Los Angeles.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant. I think the Bucatini carbonara is so delicious. I went her for my sisters birthday this month. We got the Brussel sprouts, octopus, short rib ravioli and a tasty pizza with goat cheese. For dessert we had tiramisu. The cocktails were divine too!

Was a very average dining experience.
The food was average, very salty in my opinion.
Worst part was that the acoustics in this restaurant are very bad - it is so loud you cannot hear anyone talk.
Would not recommend
