By far one of the best meals we've had! We had trout almondine, steak frites & to die for desserts - napoleon and chocolate soufflé. Will pay a visit again real soon...
This was my third time at Petit Trois, and as usual I was happy with my experience. The food was delicious (I recommend getting the Lyonnaise salad and anything with French fries) and the ambience was great. They already had the Christmas tree up, which is always nice to see!
After eating a few days before at another French restaurant where one dish was too vinegary and another dish was too salty, this one was a huge relief, is everything was delicious, and you could tell was prepared with care. We also appreciated being able to order a half glass of wine. Service was also exceptional. The only frustrating thing was that the music was too loud, with a thumping bass beat.
Loved the experience dining there , overall great , quality amazing . I find it a little bit more pricy than other French places I tried worldwide . Their soup is great but not do 25$. Their snails are delicious . I would definitely go again , mostly for a special occasion.
Petit Trois is my families favorite special occasion restaurant. The menu, food, wine list and presentation are well done.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit — Especially for the Royale Burger! Petite Trois never disappoints, but their Royale Burger took things to a whole new level. Honestly, it's one of the best burgers I've ever had—perfectly juicy, incredibly flavorful, and crafted with true skill. It's absolutely up there with the best of the best. And the fries? Unreal. Crispy, well-seasoned, thin, and totally addictive. The kind you can't stop eating even when you try. The service overall was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. You can tell the staff really cares about the experience. My only real complaint was the experience with the female hostess. We asked to sit outside at a four-top since it was just the two of us and our service dog, and she told us the table was reserved. Unfortunately, that wasn't true. The outside seating stayed completely empty for our entire meal (we were there exactly an hour), and we ended up being the only guests seated outside at a tiny table for two. It was a bit disappointing, especially given how great the rest of the service was. On a brighter note, their French onion soup continues to be amazing—super cheesy, rich, and full of flavor. My only wish: please bring back the Royale Burger as a permanent menu item!** I'd be at Petite Trois much more often when I'm in LA if it returned.
Food was delicious. Salad was a tad overdressed, but everything else was great. French fries and chocolate soufflé were my favorite. Service was excellent.
Great food, albeit pricey. But well worth it. Faith was an amazing server, looking forward to going again.
Perfect French omelette and a steak with peppercorn sauce that tells its own story. Such a beautiful dining room just a step off Ventura blvd:
Used to be SO good — something happened. Food is totally different even though it’s same menu. They got rid of the napoleon dessert — a crime. It was perfect. Sad it went downhill .

A great place to pop in for a quick bite or enjoy an absolutely delicious lunch/dinner any day of the week.
My best friend and I had lunch and everything was phenomenal! Karenna gave the most wonderful service and another staff member who would help clear our table and bring out our food was so good. For drinks we ordered the Pear which was incredibly refreshing and the Delphine which had a delicious little spicy kick that made it hard to put down. We shared the French onion soup, which was savory, hearty and had that "good for the soul" feel, as well as the escargot which we wiped clean after using the perfectly baked baguette for all the garlicky, buttery sauce. Then for entrees we had the Big Mec which was massive and juicy and the duck confit which had a nice crispy skin and doused in a sauce that made the dish hit that much more. The potatoes soaked in the sauce paired well with the duck and the garlic confit spread beautifully over each bite of it. And oh we didn't stop there, we had the creme brulee, which was a touch too sweet but still yummy and the apple tart and homemade vanilla gelato that completed the entire meal. We made reservations and for 12:00PM right at opening on a Wednesday, they got quite busy which I can now understand why.
Petit Trois just never disappoints. Excellent food, great service...our FAVE!!! Classic french wonderful
