Good experience. We got good food, good service. The portion was not small but some foods are overpriced which was expected as we read review and menu before coming. Overall meet expectations.
The menu changes periodically with certain staples that are evergreen. The French Onion soup is fantastic. It has world class food but the atmosphere of a local hub that transports you from Ventura Blvd to a trip to Europe. The staff are lovely and fun. It's the second year I've brought my mom for her birthday and we all said, we need come more than just occasions because it is so welcoming and delicious.
I had to ask a couple times before we saw a waiter. I came specifically for the duck and honestly, it was lackluster. Little bit of a bummer. I think their Hollywood location is a bit better. The bar here is super slow.
