I have time to write this review because i have been sitting in this chair at PS818 waiting over an hour for food. Now the plates are coming one at a time 5-10 mins apart. In this Empty restaurant!!! Terrible!

The restaurant needs to be renovated food and drinker. OK it’s your basic bar has some good vegetarian options. Parking is kind of a pain. They have a valet but it’s still kind of a pain but it’s sherman oaks.

We scheduled a professional meeting in their private room, which included a screen, projector, wi-fi, and everything else necessary for a group meeting. The room has a rolling door for added privacy. What a fantastic place to have a private get together! The décor is fantastic for all those who love a good vintage/nostalgic concept. The food and service were wonderful, and the manager provides personal attention to all his guests. There is valet parking, lot parking, and street parking. I highly recommend this restaurant for both personal dining and meetings.

Parking: Validated valet parking.

We were easily able to make a reservation for Public School on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks on OpenTable, where they gave you different seating area options to select from. If you don’t park in their lot, we found plenty of street parking in the residential neighborhood across the street.I was craving something healthy-ish and filling, so I went with the Chophouse Filet Steak Salad ($21) which comes with chopped romaine, mixed greens, roasted red pepper, pickled onion, blue cheese dressing, filet mignon medallions & crispy fried onions. The blue cheese dressing was extremely light, and I’d you’re mildly sensitive to dairy you likely won’t have a problem with it as-is. I asked if I could switch out the crispy fried onions for grilled onions since I’m gluten free, and they were able to accommodate! I also really liked how they listed on their menu with GA in circles to clearly denote which items were Gluten Friendly. I would do the same thing if I came back, but next time I would add the avocado for $3 extra.

Food was below average, service was slow and sloppy, waited 20 mins for drinks to come to the table, items on the menu which i liked previously had been removed and menu lacked anything exciting. I had a final look around and wont be back, very disappointing.

Super fun vibe in this restaurant. It's large, has indoor and outdoor seating and a nice bar. Menu is a good size and portions are perfect. Love that they have mock tails on the menu as well!

Overall underwhelming. Drinks were flavorless. The Bahn Mi was okay but nothing special. Our server was very nice though so I appreciate that.

Great service. Loved our waitress best. Amvbiance fine for a sports type bar but we were actually looking for something a bit nicer, quiieter. Food was delicious but light on the protein.

Do not waste your time and money. Overpriced in almost a comical way, for the blandest food you can find in the valley. The service did not make up for this.

Josh, our server was great! The atmosphere was very relaxing, no pressure, the food was very good, we had a variety of dishes, and it was enjoyed by our entire party!

Kid-friendliness: Several options for kids, high chairs were available upon request!

I really can't review much because the kitchen closes at 9pm. I just find it strange to close the kitchen AND the bar an hour before the doors close. Reservation at 8:30... My guest was on time but I was late... so didn't have a chance to order anything and walked over to Cheesecake Factory. I don't know if the kitchen hours are posted but if so I didn't see that when I made the reservation.
