I stopped by this Starbucks inside Westfield Sherman Oaks this morning and I had a good experience. My goal was to get a plain bagel with cream cheese but they didn't have any left. So I went with the chocolate croissant which I never had here before. This Starbucks is like a food stand so it's not that big. I came before the mall open so they were not busy at all. The worker who tooked my order was very polite and friendly during our interaction. I asked that the croissant get toasted and it came out quick. They also had some sample cookies so I took one as well. The sample cookies was good and I thought my chocolate croissant was good as well.

Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options here

Parking: This Starbucks is inside the mall so there a private parking lot or parking garage

Terrible service and they give the orders very poorly. The preparation of the drinks is totally different from other places. I would not buy there again.

The black girl with the braids is very inconsiderate and annoying.
I work at this mall, placed an online order and wanted to add a cup of water since i couldn’t add it to my online order, she says in a rude way “go through the line” mind you there is no one in line why cant you just ring it up from the where i am. Inconveniencing us both as well as the Mexican girl being annoying too.

I never have any problems with the white guy i assume is the other manager, he is always so helpful, considerate, and nice.

However i am just so disappointed in everyone else. I’m not the only one who feels like this. I work in the mall and me and my co-workers have chatted about how we don’t like this starbucks for so many reasons.

Unlike most well-run Starbucks locations, this branch suffers from poor management and unskilled staff who show little care or respect for their customers. In the past three months, I’ve visited this location twice, and on both occasions, I ordered a hot latte, only to face the same disappointing experience. It seems the staff here can’t handle a simple hot latte order.

After waiting for close to 30 minutes, I noticed that several customers who ordered after me were being served, while my name hadn’t been called. When I asked an employee about my order, he simply said they were understaffed, even though four employees were present, with some not particularly busy. I saw no progress on my order and realized wasting that much time for a latte wasn’t worth it. When I reminded the cashier that no one was working on my order, he claimed I had only been waiting for 10 minutes, which was clearly inaccurate. Worse, they couldn’t even find my order. The cashier then asked if I wanted a refund, to which I agreed. As I voiced my frustration about the situation, his response was to dismiss me with repeated “bye”s.

When I asked for his name, he claimed to be Joe, but his name badge said “Nick”! After I mentioned sharing this poor experience on social media, he continued with more “bye”s. I’ll never return to this Starbucks or recommend it to anyone. Thankfully, there are many of other coffee shops in this town where the staff have basic customer service skills. I also regret leaving a tip for such undeserving employees.

Asked for a Iced Vanilla Latte and was given the wrong order twice. With a huge wait time both times. Incredibly unhappy with the experience. Really hoping that it's not a common occurrence.

Ordered 3 drinks, once we went up to pick them up we were missing a straw for one so we waited for an employee to come closer to ask for one. A girl came and we asked her if we could get a straw and almost cutting us off she said "I'm off the clock." And continued pouring a drink. So we waited a little more and no one was coming so I had to raise my voice to get someone's attention for a straw. SHE WAS RIGHT INFRONT OF THE STRAWS! That girl could've just let one of her coworkers know that we needed help if she couldn't help us. Couldn't believe this happened in such a tiny location.As we were leaving I heard a lady say "excuse me one question...." and that girl told her that same thing.If she's behind the counter she should expect people to ask her for help, if she's off the clock I get it, but don't be so rude about it and at least let someone else know.
