In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

I hope Michael sees this, but he was the highlight of my day today, and I'll be sure to come to this Starbucks more often to be helped by him. He was very bubbly and helpful and did not rush me. I really felt his patience as I was taking my time looking at new additions to the menu and I was feeling indecisive. The new falafel pocket was indeed small, like he mentioned, but it was tasty. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

I ordered a warmed banana nut bread, and it was in a plastic wrapper, not warmed at all. Service was hit or miss when I visited 3 days in a roll. Trash can was overflowing with trash.

Small store in the valley, in Sherman Oaks. Very busy but with very little variety of sandwiches and baked goods available. For the rest, typical Starbucks with fast and personalized service. There is a lack of attention to the general layout during peak hours, there were no napkins at the designated desk.
