Absolutely love this place! As someone who grew up on more American-style Mexican food, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a lunch truck like Tacos El Tijuanense—but wow, it completely blew me away.

The flavor is incredible—everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and just downright delicious. The birria is rich and tender, and the tacos dorados are seriously next-level—crispy on the outside, packed with flavor on the inside. You can tell these folks know what they’re doing.

The service is super fast, even during the lunch rush, and the staff is really friendly and welcoming. It’s become my go-to spot in Sherman Oaks whenever I’m craving something satisfying and authentic. Highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing and incredible food. My wife and I tried all the different meats they had to offer and we both enjoyed it. I especially love the birrieria tacos. Everyone was nice, helpful and overall was a great experience. Definitely going back for more!

I have to leave a review for this place because they hands down make my favorite carne asada taco. I actually may be addicted. 10/10 every time they are delicious. I am craving them right now while writing this review lol.

Okay, I have been impartial to getting my barbacoa from Cilantros... however, a friend of mine brought me this from a food truck and I had to hunt it down to try it again since he only gave me one damn taco, and I had to be sure it was the same spot.

Brilliant Barbacoa!

This juicy, zesty, not too salty, moist shredded beef that melts in your mouth and and only gets better when dipped in the barbacoa au jus, is a masterpiece.

I have had it 3 times now to check for consistency before writing, and it's spot on everytime.

They have other good food there but this is the top to have on my radar.

They do have a little table and chairs to sit on if you feel like you need to eat right away, and then staff is always friendly, unless you say Queso wrong...

I’m not sure why you did that, but ween you do advertising and saying that you have some special prices for some food you should expect people come for it, but when I came you said you don’t have that and put the sign with the price 3 times more than you promised. It’s kinda fake advertising to get more people
