I was looking for a new sushi spot (you can tell when old favorites start going through the motions) and The Big Fish is right on the money. We had the Caterpillar roll, crunch roll, and baked salmon roll, all very good. The baked salmon roll was actually one of the best I've ever had - perfect temperature. Interior of the restaurant has a nice vibe, and friendly folks work there. Pricewise this might be slightly higher (for some of the rolls) than other places, but you can taste the difference. This is in a part of town I hadn't been to in years and the location is in a "blink and you'll miss it" strip mall at Riverside and Coldwater Canyon...so thanks to Yelp's new restaurant email and all of the other reviews: this is a sushi place worth visiting!

Hands down our new favorite sushi restaurant. Worth driving over the hill. Loved everything we had including the bulgogi. Fish was super fresh and the rolls were creative and delicious. The owners were really gracious and made our night special.

Saturday, March 16, 2024 7:35 PM The wife and I went to dinner here with another couple last week and had one of the best sushi dinners we've ever had! Isis treated us as if we were family, so all we could do is ask her to bring us what ever she wanted! There may not be any omakase on the menu, but Isis brought us dishes including the excellent Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, edamame, Hot Night Roll, Mexi-Cali Roll, and other dishes that were so interesting and delicious that we were already talking about when we're coming back here! They also had great sake choices, which we had both hot, cold, and Negori! We live on the Westside but can't wait to return to Big Fish Sushi and turn other friends on to this fabulous place!

We just find our favorite sushi place in the Valley! The fish quality is AMAZING! Price is reasonable, service is great and on time! Nice deco not too loud music. Easy street parking we came on a Thursday night, find the parking in split sec. Will definitely come back!

I don't normally leave reviews after eating places but The Big Fish Sushi blew me away. The service was very hospitable and the food was fresh. The restaurant itself was also very pleasing to sit in. I recommend the sunshine roll and langostino dynamite role to anyone on the fence! I will definitely be coming back with other friends in the future.

Great new spot in the neighborhood. Both food and service were spot on. We tried different sushi rolls and loved the recommended house favorite, Big Fish Roll. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for good sushi in the area.

This place was great ! :) The entire staff is very friendly and service is great. The ambiance is really cool too. Small interior but very cozy and cute. Now for the food, everything I had was good. Also had the chocolate truffle cake desert which was also good. Also the inside is very clean. Shoutout to the waitresses and cooks !
