In from Ohio on a quick work trip and needed coffee when I stumbled upon this as being nearby. I ordered an iced almond joy latte (specialty drink) and the ham and cheese quiche and WOW was I blown away! The coffee is amazing and this might be the best quiche I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Cool spot. I used to come here often, when it first opened as I used to live in the area. On my recent visit, they seem to have lost their touch with the espresso drinks and the warm hospitality that made them distinct when the owners worked the shop.

Tortoni is my favorite cafe in LA! Their coffee is luxurious. Their iced latte is a little nutty, a little caramelly and absolutely delicious. The ambiance of the cafe is relaxed and cozy and the staff is lovely! Sometimes I see the owner around chatting with customers and regulars. It’s a perfect neighborhood cafe.

I am writing to provide feedback as a customer who has visited your café nearly every day for the past year. I have always valued the consistent quality and friendly service, which is why the recent change is so noticeable and disappointing.
The same level of training has not accompanied a recent expansion in hiring. On my last several visits, my usual order has been prepared incorrectly. More concerning than the error itself was the reaction when I brought it to your new staff's attention; I was met with dismissiveness and an unprofessional attitude that suggests customer service is not a priority.
This is a fixable problem with a refocus on training and standards. I am bringing this to your attention directly, as the current trajectory is alienating the loyal customer base you've worked hard to build.
Please address this, as I would greatly prefer to return to the Tortoni Caffe I loved.

The matcha tasted awful and when I asked if there was a chance to exchange it for something since I only had a couple of sips, the boss lady said no, even tho the rest of the employees were about to remake the drink and it’s an okay thing to do amongst the coffee shops. Customer service should be improved when the drink was pretty much full and not “enjoyed and asked for something else”.

Such a cute coffee shop down the street from our apartment . I forgot about this place and stumbled across it again on my morning walk with my dogs , baby, and husband . The customer service was always great in the past but today it was something to remember . The staff on February 25 in the morning were all so sweet . They all greeted us with smiles and even offered our pugs some treats . I asked the barista if he wanted to feed them as a thank you but he kindly had to turn down that offer because he didn’t want to raise any alarms with cleanliness which makes sense . He was very respectful about it while remaining cautious of others feelings in the coffee store . Which is important when dealing with the public . From the start of checking in to leaving to my actual iced matcha and blueberry muffin being delicious as well it was a 10/10 experience and we will be back . Highly recommend .

I never write reviews, but this place is seriously great! I ordered the Iced Horchata Latte and WOW! so good!! We also got a couple of the empanadas and the oil stuff they give you to go with them is the perfect complement to the already delicious empanada. The girl at the cash register this morning was so sweet and made the whole experience really delightful. We never really go out for coffee but wanted to treat ourselves on this rainy day. We’re really glad we chose this spot!

Had the matcha americano and even though they didn't whisk the matcha, it turned out ok. It's my new favorite drink. The chocolate chip cookie was cold and would have benefitted from a minute in the microwave. Not too many seats inside but there was just as many outside seats. I had higher expectations I guess. Parking issues as expected given the location.
