The food specials keep getting better. The last few dishes we really enjoyed was risotto with osso bucco ragu, sweet potato gnocchi in a white wine sauce with shrimp (I can still taste it), and white fish over spinach.

I’ve tried this place multiple times because I live very close to it. In hopes that it can’t be all bad. But it’s tasteless so-called Italian. I advised to avoid rather go to peppone over the hill.

Great location. The entire atmosphere gave a warm, tranquil feel, and the cuisine was excellent.Although the kitchen was moving extremely slowl, the staff was still trying their hardest to reach up and provide us with the best experience they might. So, take your time and joy the pleaser.

Everything is good.. buuuuuuuut. No carbonara? What kinda Italian restaurant can't whip a carbonara on a Sunday afternoon.. Disappointed. The lemon cake could use less bread and more lemon . Wink wink. Canola is crumbling, breaking a part.

A friend recommended Trattoria Del Sol to me many months ago as a place with good food and where you can hear what your spouse and/or friends are saying. The restaurant became our go-to local Italian restaurant. I rate it 5 stars for several reasons. The food is great and there is wide variety to choose from. The service is excellent. The three servers, Yadira, Anna and Gerando are a pleasure. (Yes, I know their names!) I even now know the name of the head chef, Manuel. One evening Manuel made arancini (fried risotto ) as a special appetizer. They were as good as the ones we had in Palermo. So I had to meet him. We go often and have never been disappointed.

Cute place. Very nice waitress but she did not acknowledge celebrating my friends b -day. Pizza & chicken panini sandwich were tasty but nothing special. Liked the easy, free parking.

I am not gluten intolerant but my boyfriend is and I took him here anyway (worst gf ever) thinking I would have the seafood spaghetti all to myself because it is to DIE for , and he can figure something else out . Turns out almost all the pastas on the menu are gluten free & how that is possible I’ll never know . It is the best tasting pasta . I just can’t believe it . I live in NY & dream of this place . FIVE STARS food & service

Surprisingly lovely interior, they accommodated our group of 15 & gave us the most beautifully cozy wine-laden wooden private room. Our waitress was kind & patient & genuinely friendly. The food came out quicker than we anticipated, given the size of our group, & it was all excellent. My ossobuco was a world-changer! Very reasonable prices, given the quality of the food.

We wanted an authentic Italian meal for our anniversary, and this little restaurant was perfect. We got the arancini as an appetizer and they were perfect. We were just in Sicily last month, and these were as good as those that we got on the streets of Palermo. I ordered the bolognese and my husband ordered the lasagna, and both were delicious. The TVs play a loop of Italy travel shows, which we enjoyed watching as we drank a nice bottle of Tuscan wine. The restaurant is small, and there is an Italian market attached which makes it feel like a little trattoria in a real Italian piazza.

Excellent food,I got Ravioli Cheese and my husband lasagna it was delicious! And the pepperoni pizza and cannolis highly recommend.Service outstanding , (thank you to Anna) Next time I will love to hear Italian music in the background to match the wonderful food and no tv.

This trattoria offers a variety of Italian favorites. Overall, we enjoyed the Spaghetti and Meatballs, Pappardelle Bolognese and Salmon with vegetables. The pasta is cooked al dente but the bolognese and salmon needed a little salt. Service was nice and the place is cozy. Will have to try the other menu items next time and maybe the seasoning was just off this day.

You must try the soups. Delicious velvety soups. Call ahead and ask what's the soup of the day. We have tried the Green bean, pea, mushroom, eggplant, spinach, and zucca. We order them every single time. Never had soup this good. Manuel the chef is outstanding.
