Ubatuba in Sherman Oaks is hands down the BEST açaí spot! I always order for pickup, and they never disappoint. I go for the 24 oz. bowl and load it up with UNLIMITED TOPPINGS, all for under $21! The bowl is absolutely massive, so fresh and flavorful, and honestly heavy enough that it feels like you’re carrying a dumbbell Definitely big enough for two full meals, but I usually can’t resist digging in right away.
The quality is always consistent, the fruit is perfectly ripe, and the açaí itself has the ideal creamy texture. It’s refreshing, filling, and such an incredible deal for the size and toppings you get.

If you love açaí, this place will ruin all other spots for you, in the absolute best way possible.

I used to come here all the time, I moved to Beverly Hills and stopped consuming from this location as often as I used to. Today, Saturday, March 8, at 4pm, one of the guy employees gave me the worst attitude ever. I asked him about the consistency of the açaí base because it was really melted down, and when I told him I wanted a different topping he said he wasn’t allowed to change the topping for me like what?! 😂
Sooo disappointing, I’ll rather go to the competitors than pay here $11 for a small bowl.

Ubatuba Açaí - My Favorite Spot in LA!

Ubatuba Açaí in Sherman Oaks is hands-down my favorite location in Los Angeles! The vibe here is so welcoming, and the staff always makes you feel right at home. Every bowl is customizable to perfection, with fresh fruits, creamy açaí, agave coconut and a variety of toppings that keep me coming back for more.

What I love most is the quality and consistency. You can taste how fresh and thoughtfully prepared everything is. Whether I’m in the mood for something light or a hearty, satisfying treat, Ubatuba never disappoints.

The space itself is clean and inviting, perfect for a quick stop or to sit and enjoy. It’s a hidden gem that has become my go-to spot whenever I need a healthy pick-me-up.

My favorite acai place by far! I'm so glad this is the one closest to us, because we come all the time. The pricing structure for acai bowls here is better than other Ubatubas in my opinion. You pay one price based on size, and you can get any number of toppings you want. Sure the size is a bit smaller, but I love getting blueberries, strawberries, banana, honey, almond butter, peanut butter, paçoca, hemp seeds, and any of their other dozens of ingredients that I feel like trying that day. And it always hits the spot.

Today I came at 8:55pm, 5 minutes before closing, because another juice bar nearby (that I will not name) closed before advertised. It was still bustling! One or two tables of squabbling teens, 2 people in line before me, and then 2 parties showed up after me. The workers behind the counter were so friendly. I originally asked for an acai dessert (only $5 but it's tiny and you only get 2 toppings). But then I realized my wife wanted apple juice in her smoothie, which we didn't have at home, so I asked to switch to the Ubatuba smoothie, and he said no problem. I struggled to decide on the extra topping in addition to strawberries, banana, acai, and apple juice. He said they can't blend goji berries. Another worker suggested orange peels to add a bit of bitterness to the sweet smoothie, and that turned out to be perfect (other than a few hard bits my wife had to spit out).

Needless to say, we will be coming back again and again to this fine establishment. Great job hiring friendly and patient workers and keeping a high quality product.

This is my first time trying this place I'm obssed, there is a balance of sweetness. It's better than most places , because it has the right of sweetness . The options on the toping are delicious , healthy options like bee pollen, dates , fresh fruit.
The staff is friendly and explained how to order . Will be back .
