The food is really good, however, the service is atrocious. There were a couple of flies in our area. Very annoying. I asked two different servers at two different times both servers ignored me. They didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I asked them to do something about them. I’ll never go back. Sorry not sorry

This is our go-to sushi restaurant. The food never disappoints. The service is very friendly.
Had grubhub delivery—excellent, will go back soon. Sashimi a must and seaweed salad very good.

Love this place. Great food, great prices and great service. This is a go to place for me. Nestor is always super great and knows my usual ramen order. Always great to go somewhere that feels like home. A must try.

I've only ordered Umigame via DoorDash, but love love love their menu. Everything is seasoned perfectly, packed with care, and so delicious!! Thank you Umigame for being the best Japanese on Ventura!!

Got together with some friends who haven't seen each other in a while. We picked this sushi spot because it was half way point for us.
Small spot with maybe 12 tables inside. Nice street side seating as well. Our table was up front by the glass so we could see the street action.
We got there just before 3 pm. Perfect because it wasn't crowded or too busy.
Started with a shared bottle of Kikusui Sake and four appetizers.
Jalapeño poppers
Yellowtail carppacio
Spicy tuna crispy rice
Albacore & Crispy onion.
All three were delicious.
Five different sushi next.
My favorite was the Truffle unagi roll.
Next was the Lime yellowtail roll, we got another order.
Also good were the Spider roll, Dynamite roll, and Lobster crunch roll.
Each of the dishes was flavorful and fresh.
Overall, great value, great flavors.
We had a really good time. Recommend visiting. We'll be back.
