Charmingly frozen in time. Good Martinis, great garlic cheese bread. Very loyal locals who have been frequenting for literal decades.
Family birthday dinner. The food is always amazing and portions are nice. Been going here for +15 years.
I have loved the Valley Inn since I moved here over 20 years ago. It's been redecorated to great effect once in that time and the menu has barely changed, but it's a great menu. The quality of the food is excellent, and the portions are generous. The prices have gone up but it's still my go to for comfort food and a good martini in the valley. My favorites are the onion soup, Chicken Marsala and Filet Mignon. They have nice wine available by the glass including one of my favorites, Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay.
Valley Inn is a dining icon, providing the last-century vibes and more classic cuisine. If you're into trendy, don't come here. The roast duckling is divine and so is the garlic bread. Bbq ribs and clam chowder are good, too. They do great burgers, too. But really, it's a comfort hub, with comfy booths and consistent cuisine. The bar is always hopping with a 50s and up crowd.
We absolutely loved this restaurant. We started at the bar. Bill made fabulous martinis. We then moved to the dining room. Loved the food. Wait staff very friendly and loved the old school vibe. We will definitely be back.
First visit but not last. Reserved booth for birthday dinner. Cozy, food tasty, service wonderful, blueberry lemon drop martini yummy. There were two parties there but they’re closed off from main dining room so it wasn’t noisy. Not fast food. They don’t rush you. We were there almost 3 hours. Nice spot for special occasion. Do make a reservation as it filled up after 6:30 on a Saturday night. There’ was live piano music as well as a separate, small sports bar that looked welcoming.

Since 1947 The Valley Inn has been a local favorite. Ambience is cozy and welcoming . Food is delicious, service is friendly and efficient. Can't wait to return.
Loved the ambience. Very good service, Very good food. Priced up a bit, from what I would normally pay, would do it again, but not all the time. Very old school feel. Maybe a little short on staff, but that's being picky. Over all very good restaurant.
The atmosphere was nostalgic of earlier times which made it very special for us. The food and value were good. The service was exceptional. The staff couldn't have been nicer.
Food was amazing!!! Boris and Sofia are wonderful owners and make the dining experience truly wonderful

First time here and we loved it. The throwback steakhouse vibe stays close to its roots and provides a really nice atmosphere. We were looking to go casual and had the Wagyu burger and it was phenomenal. Mix in great cocktails, friendly and efficient service and a strong dessert menu and this gets an easy 5 starts. As a staple in the valley for over 75 years, it shows they’re obviously doing a lot of things right. If you’re anywhere near The Valley Inn, do yourself a favor and get in there ASAP!
Thought about eating here, but wouldnt even let me use the restroom as an uber driver that dropped their customers off. Im really sick of businesses that act like we dont bring business to them with our dropoffs. At least let us use the restroom if we bring money to your facility whether its us or the people we dropoff.
Excellent. 10/10 will definitely return. Rib eye and prime rib...and the carrot cake!! The bartender is very talented 🔥
