First time here and we loved it. The throwback steakhouse vibe stays close to its roots and provides a really nice atmosphere. We were looking to go casual and had the Wagyu burger and it was phenomenal. Mix in great cocktails, friendly and efficient service and a strong dessert menu and this gets an easy 5 starts. As a staple in the valley for over 75 years, it shows they’re obviously doing a lot of things right. If you’re anywhere near The Valley Inn, do yourself a favor...

If you love an old school steakhouse, this one has a long history in the San Fernando Valley along with great food and an excellent bartender, that never disappoints. It’s my neighborhood favorite place to go. Try the fried chicken, filet mignon or prime rib—don’t forget to grab a martini. The lemon-blueberry martini is a perfect way to start your visit. It can get busy so, I recommend making a reservation.

Food was ok. Chicken portion larger than average and price in the mid $30's. Salad is a few dollars, and blue cheese dressing good, but the lettuce is knife cut into very small pieces- almost appears like they are trying to make a couple of lettuce leaves cover the plate. No bread served. Although they advertise themselves as a martini bar, the martini glasses are on the small side. The server was extremely pushy trying to get our order before we even ordered any drinks....
