“I have thyroid problems and a history of difficulty disgesting gluten. At this place, so far after a few hours, I haven't experienced any bad reactions. They fermented the flour for I think 36hrs and its imported from Italy.
I also believe they don't use bad oils or even have a freezer. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor. The price is pretty cheap for the quality of food. I would definitely stop by again.

“i heard from a little bird that 4 real italian men were going to open up a pizza express in town. Pizza is italian right. So why eat pizza from someone like Norway like me i will make you some grub and alot of potatoes. Leave the pizza to the experts. Well Valentines we had friends over and i thought pizza would be fun and a big salad.....wow wow wow Formaggio pizza is not like any in town. ITS REAL EVERYTHING THE SAUCE IS TO DIE FOR. “This place absolutely gets a thumbs up from me. The ingredients were of great quality, the food was prepared excellently, and the staff were as friendly as could be. If you're looking for crispy crust on a pizza that isn't burnt, this is the place to go!

My one and only complaint is that the atmosphere of the restaurant was a little bit run-down. Everything was serviceable, but just looked worn out. Unlike other places I've eaten, however, I genuinely do not feel like this issue is born out of a lack of care on the Staffs' side. They seem to really care about the location, and do the best with what they've got.

“My son ordered pizzas to pick up after his son’s karate promotion ceremony. When I arrived, the pizzas were ready and waiting for us in an insulated delivery bag. The bag stayed at the store, but the pizzas were warm when we got home 10 minutes later. Great that they had gluten free and dairy free options to meet dietary restrictions. The sausage and pepperoni pizza I enjoyed was great, and my family members seemed pleased with theirs.“

“Great pizza ! Great garlic bread although I didn't order the pasta it would be enhanced with the bread i know that much. This location is in a very scenic area with plenty of great fishing spots. The beer was cold and they even have a lil mini arcade for the kids to enjoy also.
Service was excellent with no wait practically but I did go a bit early in the day for lunch.
All In all I will be coming back here.“

“This is one of the best pizza places, probably in El Dorado county. I’ve been to quite a few pizza places, but not only the pizza but the customer service. Being greeted with a smile every time you go in the fast service it’s clean exterior and interior. And it is absolutely positively the best darn pizza and I’ve ever had ! Mind you I have tried the all meat, combination n the vegetarian. And all of the pieces I’ve had and next one I’m gonna get the Stromboli but every pizza I’ve had has been the most delicious well prepared Amazing tasteful lots of condiments on it. “I drive by this place a ton of times. Kinda forgetting that Pizza Plus is tucked inside a small shopping complex on Missouri Flat Road, south of Highway 50, in Placerville. The pizzas are pretty darn good.

The pizzas are oven baked with fresh, quality fixings. Mmm. Simple, classic pizzas done right. The staff are the best. Friendly, helpful. They have a couple of dining areas. The place is kept super clean. No frills. Comfortable. It's locally owned by the same original owner for over 30 years. That's a testament right there.“

“Stopped here for a quick dinner on my way to Placerville from Sacramento on a Saturday in August. There's a CVS closeby too, so could shop there for upcoming hiking trip while the order was being prepared. Nice cheap food - very oily and very carb-heavy but that's what I needed before the big hikes around Tahoe the next day.

“Great decorations. Even the bathrooms look like a forest. When we arrived, we were all given a light-up wreath crown, which we were able to take home. There were 5 of us and we had the fondue dinner. Each course was more food than we could eat. Started with cheese fondue. Main course was pieces of filet mignon, chicken, meatballs and giant shrimp cooked in oil and finished with chocolate fondue. Delicious. Our waiter, Miles, was outstanding. Made sure we were well taken care of.“
