Love this place for their Carrot ? Cake! Please do make an option to sell your icing that is used for the carrot cake. I'm sure even when made in small amounts for sale, that people would buy them with a fair price.I appreciate all your hard work and happy holidays.

I got some ice cream with toppings, but only tasted the toppings. Not worth the price.

Are you a big little lies fan? Well guess what that one scene where they filmed them getting ice cream wasn't in Big Sur.. it was here at Mother Moo. My friend took me here and said it was a so cal secrect. I had the fresh peach ice cream. Melt in your mouth. 10/10. This has nothing on salt and straw. The ambiance was really cute and they also sell stickers, candy, some jams, pies and a few other random things! Looking forward to coming back!

Very kind staff. The young woman who helped us was attentive, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, welcoming, and kind. There are some amazing flavors! Most all options (except the sorbets) have egg! Some seating outside. Tons of drinks, root beer floats, and pies! Parking is a bit tough, as it is a busy, quaint downtown boardwalk, but stay positive, high turn over!

Nothing special about the pie except way overpriced. BYW the picture shows a table and chairs but there are no chairs.

Besides the wonderful assortment of ice creams (seasonal & traditional ) they also have pies and pastries as well as drinks. The pies are locally baked & delicious!Service is always friendly and attentive, even during the summer when it gets super busy. A perfect place for a dessert break!

This is literally my favorite ice cream place because of their triple milk flavor. I've been coming here since high school and it's always so good and consistent. I don't even like milk but this flavor hits. So simple and so creamy!! I've had other flavors as well and they are all very good. They also sell pies and cakes here. I've tried the blueberry peach pie with a pecan crumble and it was pretty good! Definitely hits the spot when I'm craving a pie.The place is cute and has plenty of shared seating outside. Service is great. The employees have always been nice and helpful. It is a little pricey though, but I think it is worth it for the quality and taste!

The owner of this shop is rude and mean. A fully pregnant young lady with a 5 year old needed to a moment to sit for a few minutes and this rude owner told her to leave. For a pregnant person to be treated like that by anyone is a disgrace. Furthermore the young pregnant lady and small child have grown up in Sierra Madre and the family has frequently visited the ice cream shop hundreds of times in the past. I understand that it is busy however to treat a pregnant young lady and her 5 year old daughter like that in 80 degree weather was rude. The right thing to have done was kindly asked the pregnant young girl if she needed water. When I called to discuss this with the ice cream shop owner she was defensive and rude and she hung up on me. Such a disrespectful, unprofessional and rude owner. Try being compassionate to your longstanding customers especially one who is currently pregnant with a 5 year old daughter in the summer heat.
