Creative menu with delicious food that's great for family style dining. The cocktails were also fantastic. Excellent, friendly service: Vanessa was a delight! Nice outdoor patio. Will definitely come back!

AMAZING PLACE IN SIERRA MADRE I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

The waitress was incredibly sweet and made us feel very welcome. The food was genuinely good, but the pacing of the meal was off—some guests waited quite a while for their dishes, so it didn’t feel properly coursed. A number of menu items were also unavailable, which we were told was due to it being a Monday and stock not yet replenished. That’s understandable, but it still made ordering more difficult. Overall, a kind staff and good food, but the experience could be more smoothly run.

Was Really quiet I recommend this place ( In Sierra Madre )

When a guest asks for help with an overcooked protein, and the chef/owner replies with “ I will not remake the chicken for you because we make it how we make it” This is not hospitality. People go to restaurants more carefully now in light of the current economy but when we do go out, we're looking for warm hospitality and good food. Philip, the owner and chef, is not interested in this aspect of the business, so one would wonder why he has in the hospitality industry at all?

Food is so fresh and prepared very well. Salad with fresh grilled salmon was excellent. Love their fries and the creme Brulee is Heaven

Just had dinner there. Great place. A little under staffed, but the server made up for it eventually. Good food.

Dietary restrictions: I'm alleric to all nuts, and they addressed any concern I had.

We came to dinner before the Playhouse theater production. We found that Roe Fusion was very accommodating to dietary restrictions. The server Vanessa was very personable and helpful with recommendations and descriptions of different dishes. Best of all, all of the dishes were cooked to perfection! We look forward to visiting again.

Absolutely friendly staff & wonderful service. The waitress was very kind and attentive. My 10yr. old son and I tried a variety of items and loved each one. The Shooter is a must! (Dont worry, he didn't try that with me, lol). His favorite bite was the Kids Teriyaki Chicken, and mine was the delicious Creme Brulee that finished off our lovely meals. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend you do too, if you're in the Sierra Madre area looking for a clean, fresh, crisp & yummy bite!

Kid-friendliness: My 10yr old son and I tried this, and he loved it. He went with the Kids Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box and was very happy with his meal, which always is a "Yes!" Moment for mommy 🥰👍🏼

What a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing meal. The cocktail selection and Whiskey selection was a great compliment to their innovative food. We'll be back to try other items from the menu soon.

Nice service and ambiance. However, the food is tasty but quite salty and extremely overpriced for the quality. I had been looking forward to this place but it's nothing to write home about. The food is clearly catered towards non-Asian people. They are missing a lot of the tasty ingredients that I would normally expect and look forward to at a Japanese restaurant. Ironically for a place called Roe, I didn't even see any ikura on the menu. They don't even have nigiri sushi, just extremely overpriced rolls. Both the food and the selection were not what I would expect from an authentic Japanese place, but that's fine as they state that their goal is a fusion restaurant. But then in that case, what are they fusing with? I didn't see anything that was novel or interesting. There was a baked crab mac and cheese so maybe that's fusing with something that's non-Japanese? Nonetheless, the people were very nice and the space is comfortable. The food was still tasty, just not extraordinary. And it's family friendly and would be fine for kids. Not overly upscale, could still be a nice casual dinner. It would be fine if their prices were significantly lower but I found the price quite pricey because you're getting the quality of a standard izakaya (perhaps with more limited options) and the prices were more than that.

I'm visiting from Texas and when I saw Roe, I knew I wanted to eat there. So I gathered a few friends from my book club and we had dinner Tuesday evening. Vanessa was our server and she greeted us with kindness and humor and attended to us the whole evening. She gave us tastes of the wines we were deciding between and understanding of the menu. We went with her suggestions on sushi rolls and they were all fabulous! One of our friends had the steak frites which was fabulous too! We ordered creme brulee for dessert, which just put icing on the cake! A great place to enjoy delicious sushi and a good time with friends! Thank you Vanessa and all the staff who prepared such wonderful food with love!
