Small brewery with a great atmosphere. Feels a bit like a British “local pub” vibe inside. The burger guy set up outside was delivering orders to tables and they smelled great.

Beers were tasty (my favorite was the stout) but to my disappointment only about 5-6 beers out of the full assortment on their website seem to be available at any given time. I appreciate that they do half pours here.

Definitely will be back!

A nice little local brewery. It's more of a tasting room than a brewpub. They serve beer and house-made soft drinks, but their food is limited to packaged snacks. They do allow outside food, though, and there's usually either a food truck or at least a food cart in the parking lot.
The beers are all brewed in-house, and they clearly represent what the owner feels like making. It's more like hanging out with your friend the dedicated home brewer than a homogenized place that's hoping to be bought out by one of the multinational brewers. The beers may not all be to everyone's taste, but they all reflect an individual's passion for the craft of brewing rather than a marketing focus group.

Very cool place first time here. Had the house brewed root beer it was delicious. Had a great bite. I do wish it was colder temperature wise.

Idk if it was ran by an older couple but they were so cute and welcoming! The location is in a neighborhood so it’s quiet and peaceful and lots of furry friends to say hi to as well. The beer was great for a chilly night and the crawl I put together. Coming back again for sure

Went there last night and it was awesome.. Beers were great and we had tacos and an awesome pizza from the village pizza in Sierra Madre We played Scrabble and we listened Xmas music which I love so life is good! 😊

I hate to give such a low score seeing as how the place was lovely, good parking, friendly staff. The only problem was the beer, while it tasted good 2/3 in our party got sick after a few drinks. I had horrible stomach pain and had to make myself throw up, while my friend had problems out the other end. The only person who didn’t get sick only drank the seltzers. Mind you we are all avid drinkers and don’t respond to beer badly unless we have had many, we only had 4 each and felt awful. I usually give bars/restaurants 2 chances before giving up on them but I think I will only be giving this place 1.

I've been a loyal visitor to RT whenever I'm in town in Sierra Madre, and it's always been a go-to spot for me. The bartenders are fantastic, and the atmosphere—especially the outdoor patio—has an amazing vibe. I used to rave about their beer selection to everyone, particularly their key lime beer, which was my absolute favorite. However, my recent visits have been disappointing.

Recently, when I stopped in with my girlfriend, we decided to try a sampler of all the beers. Unfortunately, we couldn't even finish it. Something was definitely off. It felt like either the lines haven't been cleaned, or they've changed the recipe. The beer had the same taste you’d expect from someone who’s just started brewing in their garage—watery and flat.

I know RT is a cherished neighborhood bar, and I imagine the locals might be hesitant to voice concerns. But I'm willing to step up and say it—something needs to change.

Nice atmosphere, the people were nice. Their homemade sodas were good. I enjoyed their hefe and the sour. This was our 288th brewery we been to

I was on a walk and decided to give this place a try. I walked in and nobody greeted me. I saw others walking toward the back, so I followed. Again nobody greeted me. I walked back out the front door and sat down. Nobody greeted me.

I don't get it.

Maybe I'll give them another try.

RT Rogers is a craft brewery with a cozy taproom hand crafted in Sierra Madre. Brewer Ryan Rogers makes all their beers on the premises. Its indoor and outdoor seating space are very spacious. Atmosphere was very relaxing. Bartenders were competent and professional. Prices seem fair. Overall, it’s a good beer garden to hangout with friends.
