The best butter croissant around. All pastries are delicious though!

The food and coffee is great here but I am a single person with a dog. Dogs are not allowed inside (not even to order, apparently) and there is no place to order outside. I went in the morning after the rush hoping to order quickly and wait outside for a coffee to go, but the two customers in front of me ordered twice each. There was only one cashier, as is typically the case, and I was asked to leave. It saddens me that, in a dog friendly town, this place had not adapted to the culture to allow for either outside ordering, or faster service by their staff to keep the line moving.

I visited this coffee shop in Sierra Madre since I was meeting up with a coworker, and it was a great choice. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, perfect for getting work done. The service was top-notch, and both the drip coffee and vanilla latte were amazing. The place was clean and had such a pleasant vibe that it made focusing on work easy. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Delicious baked goods and coffee. Small indoor seating and plentiful outdoors. No public restroom. If you like Tuna and pickles, you’ll love the Tuna melt($14). The cold brew here is good and so are the lattes. Prices are a bit higher here than other local coffee shops.

Food was not good. The man at the front and one of the baristas was nice. For some reason the ingredients in the breakfast burrito were not mixed, so in some bites I would just have a mouthful of cheese and tortilla, and the hashbrowns in it were way too salty. The chai also was flavorless and tasted very watered down. My friend also said his breakfast sandwich was not great. It was sad to have to waste half the food as it was pretty pricey. It’s very popular, so expect a wait.

Amazing food for a coffee shop, but less than impressed with the coffee. Shop is cute.

Amazing drinks, super kind staff, food is top notch, and the pastries are something really special— I always try the zodiac cookies which change monthly and they’re super tasty. I’m glad there’s an independent alternative to the chains right here in the village that has such good espresso drinks.

Dear ownership:

I try to support local business whenever possible. I bought a cappuccino & tipped. I asked to use restroom to wash my hands etc I was told NO. Their solution? “You can go to Starbucks”. If you don’t want chain brands to take over, please allow paying customers basic things like the ability to wash your hands etc before dining. I was treated better across the street at Starbucks.

Normally, I am in suit and tie, however I’m just getting back from a road trip and looked pretty grubby this morning. Perhaps they thought I was not fit to be treated like a human being or perhaps they are too lazy to maintain their restrooms. Either way, it left me in an awkward position, having to go to your competitor to clean up so I could enjoy your coffee. Thankfully, the staff at Starbucks were understanding and let me use their bathroom without having to purchase another coffee.

Just another reason we are tired of tip culture here in America. There is no value that justifies a tip- not even a thank you.
Just another wasted dollar.

I’m not writing to complain- more like begging local businesses to understand we need to provide exceptional value if we are to survive against the big chains.

My Bolt coffee was amazing (but almost 7$), but my husband's drip coffee was just meh. The breakfast sandwich was just ok and not worth the 16$ it cost. There are really wobbly tables and the seats have no way to lean back, so it wasn't really inviting to stay. Staff is really nice and attentive.

The coffee and avocado toast are quite good, but the pain au chocolat and mango matcha latte are excellent — some of the best I’ve had! The staff are very friendly, and the place is cute — overall a great find!
