There are only a couple of restaurants in Sierraville and I have never visited any of them but today I decided to try the Mexican restaurant that's parking lot is always full. I was not disappointed at all. I give it a 10 out of a 10. The owner gave me a little bit of his Molé sauce and it was the best I've ever had.

It's disappointing that you can't really get good veggie options here, especially if you're vegan. You can't even enjoy a beans and rice taco or burrito because the rice has chicken broth on in it. I wish places that did this also kept at least a small rice cooker with veg friendly rice available.

Los Dos is always the spot I hit when heading from Portola to Truckee after a long day of golf. Took some friends for their first time last night, and it was a hit. Better than I remember!
Once again, one of the best, Mexican restaurants in my county, their county. I drive from Truckee just to eat their food and I always take at least a plate back. I order two items every time my food while I'm sitting there and then one to take home they give you chips and salsa in your to go back there friendly they're funny there are amazing If I ever have to pick a last meal, it would be los Dos Herman's

This was a fantastic place. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Despite being underdressed (it's casual but I was a sweaty bike tourer), the encouraged me to stay as long as I liked. The good was good and reasonably priced

Was visiting Truckee Ca for a week. We went on a looong hike. We stopped here for a well deserved margarita and a bite to eat. I was extremely pleased with the food drinks and staff. This is a definite worthwhile stop if you ever go through Sierraville CA. A for sure for sure.
