Was excited to try this place after seeing such positive reviews.
I ordered the poached chicken rice plate and it was quite disappointing. The chicken was unappetizing and the sides were just pickled veggies. The rice was fine I guess. I probably just ordered something that wasn’t particularly good off the menu and I might try again another time.
The service was fine, very slow though and not very personable.
The echo in the restaurant is very overwhelming. There was a group of very loud teenagers or college kids that were spouting a bunch of weirdly racist remarks. We couldn’t hear ourselves talk over the noise from their table. The tables were also pretty dirty and overall uncomfortable. It was also super hot in the restaurant.

Fresh crunchy bread. It's big and I finished 1/4 of the sandwich only and save the rest for later.

Cambodian street food in a laid back and easy going cafe. I ended up getting the Phnom Penh noodles. It came with some shrimp and pork and served with rice noodles and a flavorful broth. It’s similar to Pho and just as comforting. It’s located in a plaza so parking can be a bit busy but free at least. Service was a bit slow but it’s family owned and authentic!

Had their beef skewers and it was delicious. We went around 3pm? and there was no one at the restaurant so we were a little hesitant but I’m glad we decided to stay because the food did not disappoint. We also had their latte and matcha which was alright. After we finished, another customer came so I think we went around their slow time. Def recommend their beef skewer plate.

Bbq pork sandwich was delish larger than I expected. A++

I tried the three-piece beef skewer, and for $18 flat that’s a decent amount of food for that price nowadays. And the flavor was absolutely on point.

The food was good, I like the portion size. I ordered the Khmer beef sandwich. It was slightly sweet with a baguette style crunch hard to describe the green papaya and house style spread. Would order again!

One of the best Khmer food I have had in a while! For about $20 dollars, I got a bowl of Phnom Penh Noodles with a side of Chaquai (fried bread stick).

The noodles were warm and flavourful with lots of fresh meats and vegetables. The chaquai was very crispy on the outside and fluffy on tbe inside.

We also got a side of Naga Wings which was very crispy, juicy, with a sweet chili sauce.

The servers were patient and respectful.

This may be my go-to for Cambodian noodles in Cali.
