If you haven't been here what are you waiting for? From the moment that you walk in the door, you are greeted with the biggest smiles and open hearts. It's the best fine dining Simi Valley has. The service is spot on. Christina and her crew are always at your table checking on you. The food never disappoints. So many delicious options on the menu. My favorite is the filet mignon in peppercorn sauce it's top quality meat served with the fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes or sometimes I switch and have mushroom risotto delicious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Also excellent wine list and homemade desserts. Creative salads and freshly made soups. Like I said what are you waiting for? Call and make a reservation. bon appetit.

Good value and excellent service. Not to mention a large variety of choices. The intimate atmosphere keep the volume down where you can have a present evening with your mate.

From the moment I walked in I was impressed with this quaint little Bistro. Great atmosphere, great service and INCREDIBLE food. Best wedge salad I've ever had. I had the Filet with mushroom sauce which was exceptional, tender and seasoned to perfection. The mushroom risotto was AMAZING! I also sampled the Blackened fillet with pepper corn sauce and the ribeye with mushroom wine sauce. Hands down the best food and service in Simi Valley and their prices are very reasonable. Beto's is located on Sycamore...You will love it!!

Had a bad experience. I know people that love this restaurant but I can't seem to return. Myself and girlfriend both were sick after eating salmon one night. The boys had other food and were fine.

I used to come here quite often so I'm not sure if maybe the owners changed, but now you need a reservation to eat here, even when they don't seem to be busy. The food was forgetful. Very full of oil and not much flavor. Not sure what changed after the pandemic but pre-pandemic this place was really delicious. Maybe they just had a bad night.

Don't Be Fooled by Strip Malls: Beto's Wine & Grill Delivers a Christmas Eve to RememberForget charming piazzas and Tuscan vineyards – sometimes, the magic of Christmas Eve can be found tucked away in a humble strip mall. Case in point: Beto's Wine & Grill. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you; behind those glass doors lies a hidden gem that transformed our Christmas Eve into a starlit night of epicurean delight. From the moment we stepped inside, the aroma of garlic, basil, and slow-simmered sauces worked its magic, transporting us to a cozy trattoria in the heart of Rome. The twinkle of fairy lights adorned exposed brick walls, while classic Italian tunes played softly in the background, creating an atmosphere both festive and intimate. Our server, greeted us with a warmth that rivaled the wood-fired oven, instantly putting us at ease. He wasn't just a waiter; he was our guide through an Italian culinary adventure. The set menu was a testament to Beto's culinary prowess. Each course was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh, seasonal ingredients and cooked to perfection. The antipasti was a vibrant tapestry of cured meats, marinated vegetables, and plump, sun-dried tomatoes, each bite a tiny explosion of flavor. The pasta, oh, the pasta! Handmade, silky-smooth gnocchi bathed in a creamy pesto sauce, and delicate ravioli filled with the essence of autumn pumpkin, left us speechless (and reaching for extra bread). The main course was a difficult choice: a melt-in-your-mouth branzino bathed in lemon and white wine, or a succulent ossobuco so tender it fell off the bone. We (wisely) opted to share, a decision that led to shared plates, contented sighs, and whispered pronouncements of "best Christmas meal ever."But Beto's magic extended beyond the plate. Attentive service, the genuine smiles of the staff, the gentle chatter of fellow diners – all these threads wove together a tapestry of Christmas Eve warmth. By the time we reached the decadent dessert, we weren't just customers; we were guests at a family feast, surrounded by joy and laughter.Leaving Beto's that night, we carried with us not just the lingering taste of garlic and rosemary, but the warmth of a truly special Christmas Eve. It was a night that proved that culinary magic can bloom even in strip malls, that genuine hospitality transcends location, and that sometimes, the best Christmas memories are made in the most unexpected places. So, if you're looking for a Christmas Eve unlike any other, an experience that will linger on your palate and warm your heart long after the last bite, don't let the strip mall exterior fool you. Seek out Beto's Wine & Grill. It's a five-star gem waiting to be discovered, a testament to the fact that sometimes, the greatest treasures are hidden in plain sight. Buon appetito, and Buon Natale!

Fantastic first experience, food was incredible, service was great, and the price was right! The onky part that fell short for me was the available wines. I mean it is a wine bar and I felt like the limited selection of wines were average. Next time we visit we will definitely bring our own bottle to enjoy.
