Big Z is the gem of Simi Valley. The food is amazing. The pizza beats any franchise and the Mediterranean food is as authentic as it can be. Trust I’m Lebanese. On top that it’s family friendly. There a couple places you can go let your kids roam around while you enjoy a cold one. Love the place. The family that runs it are great.

Big Z Family Restaurant has great quality food! Chef Ammar is very kind and helps you with anything you need! The prices for food are VERY affordable, I mean VERY! $6 for a burger and fries, and only $8 for a large 12 inch pizza!

The big Z family restaurant was really fun! Was there for a private event with Annnd…Action! Photo Booth - a birthday party with lots of kids. The restaurant is large enough to have your big group there- or just yourself and a friend. The food selections were vast a mix between pizza and Mediterranean. The food we were eating was all catered for the occasion and it was all really good. The pizza was really, really nice. The owners and staff are very pleasant and willing to help. Nice people. The prices I could see on the board (if it had been a normal visit) seemed reasonable. They have selections of beverages, including beer and wine. Everything was mainly clean and the booths and family tables were in very good condition. However, the video games are a little dated. A couple of them did not work. they had no ambient music/no ceiling speakers (that were on at least). there are several TVs, but they were not on . The carpet is a little worn. The walls could probably use a little paint to spruce things up a bit. The restroom while mainly clean, was very industrial in an old way. There was a water can in one of the stalls I couldn’t figure out and the garbage can was too big for the stall. Small improvements to dress it up a little bit would make it feel more comfortable to use. Besides that; really nice people. very very helpful to the photo booth set up- let us do what we wanted. overall recommend. It’s like our family pizza joint (just as the name says) ! Thanks Big Z Family for being great hosts.

Awesome places for families and the food was delicious!!
Tried to go in on a Friday night. Said they were open until 10. Tried calling, went right to a non-existent VM. Went in anyway at 820. They were closed, posted hours still said 10. Bad form
Decided to get falafel plate and it was a big mistake, took 30 mins to prepare and i was the only customer there. Some one came in 10 minutes after me and order a large pizza and that was done before my meal. Ask the girl in the front for extra sesame sauce and paid for an extra pita. As i’m handed my food i ask if the extra sauce is there and she said no what kind of sauce did you want? Remind her of the sauce. Leave annoyed since I left a tip for nothing! Get home and realize she freaking forgot my extra pita!! Have to drive all the way back to get get my pita 40 minutes later i’m super annoyed and wont be going back. The Baklava is a damn joke in size, the size of my thumb even though bigger pieces are on display. The service here sucks ass!!
This place is amazing. One of the last non-franchise chain stores. It's a shame they're going out of business
Great place to eat and or bring the kids for tasty Mediterranean or Italian food.
