Carrillo's Mexican Deli is a gem when it comes to tortas! The freshness and deliciousness are truly unbeatable. From the moment you take your first bite, you're greeted with a burst of flavors that showcase the care and quality put into each ingredient. The bread is always perfectly toasted, providing a nice crunch that complements the savory fillings inside. Whether you go for a classic option or try one of their unique creations, Carrillo's Mexican Deli delivers a satisfying and memorable torta experience every time.

There crispy beef tacos have no taste and are expensive. Won't be back. There whole menu is totally over priced like all restaurants in Simi are out of. Disgusting . Junk

Ordered al pastor and asada taco. Al Pastor was not the same from most of the places. Can't say it was bland... Asada was ok. I will give another try.

I ordered chicken soup because it was on the menu. After the cashier placed the order she was told there had no chicken soup. Then she deleted the order. When I got my credit card bill I was reimbursed $5.00 short of the amount I paid for the chicken soup. This was my first and last time there.

Food okay...rest room has signs up out of order. I had to leave the restaurant to find a restroom. Turns out you have to ask the cashier and she will say, okay use it; you are a customer! Really?

Good food, great service, and a fairly quiet ambiance make a great local spot for lunch.

Had dinner here again, seems they changed their menu, or maybe they rotate meats. No carne asada so I tried a chicharrón, chicken and barbacoa taco. As always the tortillas are the best part of this that's why they get the 3 stars. So let's start with the chicken. It was ok, it was boiled shredded chicken, which was really moist and watery and compromised the integrity of the tortilla. I also found a large bone in my chicken see picture. I ordered it with lettuce and cheese and you pay extra for cheese, but there was none on the taco. Next up we will go with the Barbacoa. This one was good, but I did notice the cilantro and onion blend was different. The onions were so giant, and not very well chopped and it made them very overpowering and a little bit unpleasant. Next up the chicharrón. Typically chicharrón is soaked in a liquid to give it flavor. This chicharrón was flavorless. Also, there was hardly any of it in the tortilla. I ordered it with guacamole on top and I did get a generous amount of guacamole however, the guacamole consisted mostly of those giant onions, which I spoke of previously I felt like I had onion tacos basically. Maybe they were just having an off day. I hope they bring back the carne asada.

This is not "Mexican Food". It's very whitewashed and bland as hell. I gave them at least 5 chances to prove me wrong but the food misses the mark completely. Fast and Fresh Mexican is 100x better than here. This place is for the old folks who have no taste tbh. But on the bright side, customer service is great.

Not terrible but not great. I imagine the people there make the food bland as can be to play it safe with those who may have more sensitive palettes but I can't imagine the majority enjoys the lack of flavor. We've basically tried everything on the menu at this point and even the Churros somehow taste off. Again, this place isn't terrible. If you want something to eat and you're too lazy to cook then this place is fine. That's what it is. It's just fine.

I love the food here. But I usually only buy the tortillas, that's only because it's expensive for Mexican food.

Tried three times. Fresh but bland. No hints of garlic, salt, or cilantro, or lime in salsa or guacamole. The carne asada was also bland. Major difference in taste from San Fernando location. Love this concept but huge disappointment.
