I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 20 years, and it continues to be one of my favorite places to visit. The food quality and consistency have always been excellent, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the menu and overall dining experience.
That said, I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to customer service. Over the years, I’ve noticed that the staff’s interactions can sometimes come across as unwelcoming or lacking in warmth. Simple gestures—like greeting customers with a friendly smile or acknowledging them upon arrival—can make a tremendous difference in creating a more inviting atmosphere. A little more attentiveness and genuine hospitality would elevate the overall experience and truly match the high quality of the food.
I share this feedback with respect and appreciation, as I genuinely want to see this restaurant continue to thrive and reach its full potential.

I got a breakfast burrito at around 9am and I didn’t finish it until 6pm. It became my food for my whole work day. It was so huge, had to be 3 pounds and taste so good. Will buy again!

Got me and the guys breakfast burritos this morning. Really nice people and very good food. I love places like this. The only thing that would make this place absolutely perfect would be some better salsa. But still ... 9.4 / 10

We always get take out, but we've been coming to Chef Burger for years! Everything is good and very reasonably priced. They're known for their breakfasts.

It seems like this place used to be good but what I experienced was exactly the opposite. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and the steak was not shaved, instead it was thick cuts of meat with a lot of fatty pieces in it. The bread was pretty terrible as well. I had to get a replacement since it was inedible (and I used to live in Philly so I cannot eat such an abomination). I ordered what I thought was a safe tuna sandwich. Nope, it tasted SO fishy, like raw fish - and I also noticed the cook and counter lady laugh while looking at me after I took my first bite which made me extremely paranoid. I had to leave all the food and wasted $16.99. Not lying, this is the first bad to terrible meal I've had since I moved to LA last year. I did not think it was possible but this place proved me wrong.

I was not very hungry when I got there but boy did I clean my plate. That young lady that helped us and even brought our food is seriously so wonderful, not too mention very pretty.
The owner is a nice person and also the employees there food is so good ?

I was so happy with the breakfast omelette I had. It was my favorite in Simi and most places I have been. There was a perfect amount of ingredients and the omelette was not dry like many places. Everything was great! I look forward to going back!!
